@IAmKrow Well the term cold turkey was originally coined to describe the withdrawal symptoms that heroin addicts experience when quitting with no substitute or other drugs to take away the pain, and without cutting down first as you said, but people have started using it to refer to any habit, which is wrong as you don't get the same withdrawal symptoms from any other substance. Sorry if I was a bit harsh, and props to you for giving up smoking. How's it going with the quitting?

No worries. I haven't been able to quit completely. I used to smoke like 15 cigs a day, now I just smoke a couple. It's a change, at least. Now that I think of it, I used to think going "cold turkey" meant overdosing. Then somebody told me the meaning of it, but without including the origin of that term. So I ended up thinking it didn't have any special connection to heroin. Thanks for clearing that up.

There's a lot of hope in the song "promise it's not goodbye." Besides dedicating it to the Rosa family, I found that it had given me hope after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that I am still recovering from. Through the art Rosa provided and Chris was able to express an art just as great, the art of giving back. Understandably so at times, but most musicians seem to be angry at their fans who seek their time. Props to Chris

a man shows himself with the thing he does. If you listen well to soundgarden, to euphoria morning, and also to everything he's saying in his late and not so much liked projects, you can understand that he is honestly a pure artist, a pure man. he's not telling you a story, he is shy, and he tells the truth. this is one of the most important meanings to have trust in him and in what he's doing.he can do mistakes as everyone, but always searching for something he didn't tried before, to discover.

@worthlessburger7 :) yeah, he makes it happen too many times recently... think just about I've listened to soundgarden's records for more than ten years without getting bored of them... instead, about his most recent works, (as scream or the worster "carry on"), I've been able to hear them 1 or 2 times, moreover not entirely. they could be really unuseful also to some young-unknown artist, so think what I feel knowing they was made by Cornell... it's so sad, so fucking sad...

however, I can't stop respecting him. I think that these kind of "low" records (carry on or scream) are the mistakes those are growing from the music industry "way-o-feel". a far time ago, if you were an artist you had a contract w/ a major saying just they want your music from you. today every artist can't feel free to be hisself if the ambition is to make people listen to his music. they've changed minds, they put a label over artists,they told what to listen and how it looks&feel.
