i had tickets to this show. and i sold them like a complete idiot. I resolved this mistake by travelling to Manchester to see them on the NINJA tour date
I took my son Trent who was 10 years old to this gig and he fell asleep at it lol, we even went back stage to see his namesake nd waited for a couple of hours of course he was let down again and did not meet him.
I was in birmingham to see nick cave when I passed the venue and saw the mass of production trucks and got very excited indeed when I realised that they would be putting on a great show. I got my chance in Nottingham shortly after.. :)
Such an awesome intro. I actually played around a bit for some fun with this track, stripped a few of the things off of it and then combined with 999,999 running into an mp3 of the 1,000,000 rehearsal and I can say that if Trent put his touch to make an inevitably far superior version it would SERIOUSLY kick ass.
i was there that night, was the most awesome gig ever. theyd just come off reading festival i recall and trent went on about how festival audiences piss him off. think thats me at 2.07 directly under the guitar head in the black t-shirt. nin - amazing band, even better live!
yes he cancelled two shoes in sydney but came back in september to redo them especially they were great. i saw them three times in melbourne then twice in sydney and it was my birthday and was great. I also go trent guitar that he threw into the crowd
Went there the first night and it got cancelleed, then i forgot when it was on and i walked past the academy, without my ticket, and heard The Good Soldier. Bad times
all of his 'eras' are definitely different from one another. to say one's better than the other...i dunno...nin has never failed to seem perfect to me, regardless of what song or video i'm watching/listening to
it was great, especially since he cancelled this gig previously and then he came back and rocked our socks off, aaron stage dived as well i remember !
Well actually, I'm a huge fan of a wide variety of music. Not "adsactly" as you'd expect. Nine inch nails have been one of my personal favorites for years.
More or less my comment was a lighthearted joke in reference to 2005's with_teeth tour, as I attended two shows. Apparently no one really caught on to my humour - a reply in response to someones question about a typical Nin setlist. Credit for the witty (and maybe not even that funny)joke shall be given to the folks at echoingthesound.or
Pinion then Love Is Not Enough or Somewhat Damaged, or Hyperpower! and Beginning Of The End Terrible Lie Sin Gave Up Closer Survivalism Frail/Wretched Eraser Wish Hand That Feeds Head Like A Hole or Hurt, depends if he plays Hurt before Hand That Feeds Something like that
Hello, is there away i can conact Trent? I really gotta talk to him!!!! id otn wanna talk to him as a star or anything, but as some one who knows me...like a friends
Not at all...In fact, I think Freese has been the best drummer NIN has had, hands down. I mean really go and listen to Starfuckers from the fragility era and then listen to it from KROQ.
And yeah, the Woodstock stuff sucks they even said it themselves that they played crappy, so don't even sit there and say look at woodstock.
Really, so you had to leave after the first couple of songs? It went mental when last kicked in fuckin awesome, I cant even remember march of the pigs cus I was tryin to stay on my two feet I think some skin heads were causing like a mosh in the middle lol
i didnt leave the venue i went to the balcony upstairs wherer i found it hard to see, but im tall so i tiptoed and managed to see trent and aaron playing for the rest of the night ! tbh it was still one of the best gigs ive been to!
I nearly suffocated aswell, there was some giant meathead guy right in the center, where a mosh pit would have been if it was a good crowd! Still fucking awesome though.
I was there to and it was soo very hot as i noticed that the vents were on b4 the gig but when they came on stage off they went as its an old trick from the acid/house party days to get MORE takings @ the bar cus u drink more when dehydrated, great gig [love the nu guitarist] but the worst venue ive ever been to .floyd/brum

Personally since I avoid anyone holding a camera, pictures or video, this was interesting to see the artistic work and the usage of lights and darks from behind the lens. fuck this almost makes me cry...i want to see nine inch nails again so badly. trent reznor is fucking amazing. he's brilliant. year zero is great.. like every other album he ever put together.
agreed....Robin played the "parts" and wasn't swinging his guitar around like a dingus and throwing the notes out of pitch....he gets on my nerves, Aaron that is.
I must agree... I mean, Josh Freese is one of the top drummers in the hard rock industry, so I've alwayus been a big fan of him... And I do like Jeordie when he was with A Perfect Circle and Marilyn Manson, but I still yearn for Robin Finck, Danny Lohner, and Charlie Clouser to be onstage with Trent again!!! I mean they would do a helluva better job with the live performance of "Year Zero" and "With Teeth" than Aaron, Jeordie, and Alessandro....

Last year was a really good year to get into Nine Inch Nails.
Since then, they've been pumping out cd's like no tomorrow, and they've progressed a lot.
They're way different now, then they were when they started, and they are still magnificent.
My hat goes off to Mr. Reznor. ;)
