• i had tickets to this show. and i sold them like a complete idiot. I resolved this mistake by travelling to Manchester to see them on the NINJA tour date

• I was in birmingham to see nick cave when I passed the venue and saw the mass of production trucks and got very excited indeed when I realised that they would be putting on a great show. I got my chance in Nottingham shortly after.. :)

• What's the name of that song at the beganing? I've never heard it before....unfortunatelly :D

• 1:20 Hyperpower!

2:31 The Beginning of the End

First two tracks from "Year Zero"

• THAИk U !!!!!

• I was at this show, so it's cool seeing it from a different angle!

Best NIN show yet; the guys were all in a particularly good mood if I recall =)

*sigh* good times...

• 1:15 looks like chris adler

• Oh wow.

I'd love to see NIN.

Can't wait for them to come back here again. :]

• 14th july manchester. 15th july London! 2009!

• Going to the Manchester gig on 14th july. :D

Anyone else going? <3

• im at london!!!!!!!

its gonna be awesome

• I was at this show and it was brilliant. Can't wait for them to come this year to Birmingham.

• 1:31 - Josh Freese. What a rad beast.

• i miss the 05-07 line up :(

• I want to see them so bad.

SO

SO

BAD

Great video, btw.

• nice pov you usually dont get to see

goodjob to the camera man trying to capture everything

thanks for uploading

• I like how they recycled Metal for this song!

• I love ИIИE IИCH ИAILS.

• Love that you can hear the crowd singing too.

What a wicked show they put on. Best band to make it through the 90s - no question.

• He's a fucking GOD!

• I missed this show, thanks for the clip.

• Was this at the carling academy? I'm sure I recognise that place.

• "THIS IS THE BEGINNING!!!!"<3

• hey play this on november 9th to start the show please kthnksbaih

• PLEASE POST THE REEST :(

• perfect) waitin for u in moscow:)

• Aaron North is awesome :)

Love his little bandana haha.

• It's red in his right pocket, which is gay code for "fisting".

"Fist Fuck"...that was pretty smart, Aaron

• Last year was a really good year to get into Nine Inch Nails.

Since then, they've been pumping out cd's like no tomorrow, and they've progressed a lot.

They're way different now, then they were when they started, and they are still magnificent.

My hat goes off to Mr. Reznor. ;)

+ I get to see them Aug 31 in Lexington!

• pinion intro is better but this is still excellent

• Hearing Hyperpower, I always thought that it had the potential to be the most kickass intro to a NIN show ever.

How right I was. (brb, gotta stop these damn chills. :P)

• Aaron North might be you

So be careful what you wish for

• is he wearing an armband with the AIR flag on it? if so then OMG that's is SO AWESOME.

• yes he is:)

• Such an awesome intro. I actually played around a bit for some fun with this track, stripped a few of the things off of it and then combined with 999,999 running into an mp3 of the 1,000,000 rehearsal and I can say that if Trent put his touch to make an inevitably far superior version it would SERIOUSLY kick ass.

• i would love a 999,999 intro to a NIИ show, and then the lights turning on, and 1,000,000 starting with the full band onstage

• Haha, looks like your vision came to life.

• please bring back aaron north.

• Let's not and say we did =]

• is this hyperpower! from YZ?

• Yep.

• i was there that night, was the most awesome gig ever. theyd just come off reading festival i recall and trent went on about how festival audiences piss him off. think thats me at 2.07 directly under the guitar head in the black t-shirt. nin - amazing band, even better live!

• yes he cancelled two shoes in sydney but came back in september to redo them especially they were great. i saw them three times in melbourne then twice in sydney and it was my birthday and was great. I also go trent guitar that he threw into the crowd

• Went there the first night and it got cancelleed, then i forgot when it was on and i walked past the academy, without my ticket, and heard The Good Soldier. Bad times

• just seeing what happens right before everything kicks off, it's just intense

• all of his 'eras' are definitely different from one another. to say one's better than the other...i dunno...nin has never failed to seem perfect to me, regardless of what song or video i'm watching/listening to

• what a rush!

• I was there \o/

• Yeeaaaaaaaaaaaaah

• I was there!

it was great, especially since he cancelled this gig previously and then he came back and rocked our socks off, aaron stage dived as well i remember !

fantastic night!

• I can't wait^-^

• I get goosebumps when the lights go on and you can see the crowd and how much they love the show. Couldn't imagine if that was me on the stage

• I understood it. But you have to remember the people here on YouTube aren't that smart, and text-like sarcasm is frowned upon. Hahah!

• Well actually, I'm a huge fan of a wide variety of music. Not "adsactly" as you'd expect. Nine inch nails have been one of my personal favorites for years.

More or less my comment was a lighthearted joke in reference to 2005's with_teeth tour, as I attended two shows. Apparently no one really caught on to my humour - a reply in response to someones question about a typical Nin setlist. Credit for the witty (and maybe not even that funny)joke shall be given to the folks at echoingthesound.or

• pretty insensitive to put this up when the second night at birmingham was cancelled :(

• This was the resheduled gig for the night that was cancelled. I was at the other night as well.

• all the music u listen to: probably sounds adsactly the same....... think about it

• are you talking about the band who toured through Europe one year ago, changing the setlist every nioght? lol.

• yea that makes a lot of sense since the set lists are always different

• That gig was fucking awesome...

• I had standing tickets to this show but I sold them when it got rescheduled. What an idiot!

• they'd be great to see

• thats was tight.

• WOW!

• I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on what a typical NIN set list is like these days, now that Year Zero is out.

• Pinion then Love Is Not Enough or Somewhat Damaged, or Hyperpower! and Beginning Of The End Terrible Lie Sin Gave Up Closer Survivalism Frail/Wretched Eraser Wish Hand That Feeds Head Like A Hole or Hurt, depends if he plays Hurt before Hand That Feeds Something like that
• hahahaha

• At 2:26 my heart skipped a beat. lol. :) Great footage.

• Come back to the uk! Please... hehe you rock !

• NIИ for life.

• How can i contact him???

• the website maybe?

• If you close your eyes and wish really tight your wish might just come through....or you could simply get a grip.

• Hello, is there away i can conact Trent? I really gotta talk to him!!!! id otn wanna talk to him as a star or anything, but as some one who knows me...like a friends

• yeah

• I saw static-x live there

• FUCK YEAH!

• Fucking love NIN, but seriously they are crippled w/o Vrenna on drums. He owns live drums. Plain and simple.

• He at least knows how to play NIN better than anyone else. Anyone. See: Woodstock '94.

• (sixpastsix) Did you see anything from them live with Jerome Dillon on drums?I found he did an incredible job.

• Crippled?

Not at all...In fact, I think Freese has been the best drummer NIN has had, hands down. I mean really go and listen to Starfuckers from the fragility era and then listen to it from KROQ.

And yeah, the Woodstock stuff sucks they even said it themselves that they played crappy, so don't even sit there and say look at woodstock.

• ah common, Aside from that alex carrapetis (or something)guy, vrenna was the worst drummer. Freeze is by far the best drummer nin ever had.

Jerome dillon was ok, and he looked freaky on the AATCHB dvd.

• This was on my birthday. ;)

• good night !!!!!! shit venue tho!

• Yeah I was too, totally agree it was fuckin boiling in there, people were passing out and shit, still great performance tho

• lol, i had to leave the front of the stage to begin with cuss my g/f was getting crushed! that was fucking mental when trent come on....

• Really, so you had to leave after the first couple of songs? It went mental when last kicked in fuckin awesome, I cant even remember march of the pigs cus I was tryin to stay on my two feet I think some skin heads were causing like a mosh in the middle lol

• i didnt leave the venue i went to the balcony upstairs wherer i found it hard to see, but im tall so i tiptoed and managed to see trent and aaron playing for the rest of the night ! tbh it was still one of the best gigs ive been to!

• I nearly suffocated aswell, there was some giant meathead guy right in the center, where a mosh pit would have been if it was a good crowd! Still fucking awesome though.

• DEJAVUE

I was there to and it was soo very hot as i noticed that the vents were on b4 the gig but when they came on stage off they went as its an old trick from the acid/house party days to get MORE takings @ the bar cus u drink more when dehydrated, great gig [love the nu guitarist] but the worst venue ive ever been to .floyd/brum

• Yeah I was too, I can remember loads of people flat out near the steps going up to the second floor, I was gaspin for air and water oh well it was still amazin....goin to watch korn There in january so takin my oxygen mask lol

• I was there too and yes the venue was shit. Well actually, the ventilation (or lack of) was shit. People were fainting left right and centre. Fucking dangerous.

• i was there too and it was so hot as i noticed that the vents were on b4 the gig but when they came on stage off they went as its an old trick from the acid/house party days to get MORE takings @ the bar cus u drink more when dehydrated, great gig [love the nu guitarist] but the worst venue ive ever been to .floyd/brum

• i hope aaron goes back to the icarus line if he isnt going to be in NIN anymore

• i was there!

• a new beginning.

• I wish I could have seen YZ with this incarnation of the liveband.

Hope to get a chance in the future...

• No! You didn't see them?! Trents displacing the band members after this tour!!

No more Aaron, Jeordie or Jerome ='(

• jerome? you mean freese right... jerome has been gone for a while now.

• NIN. NIN. NIN. NIN.

• That show was freaking ELECTRIC. Best show of my life, not even joking. The venue was shit but the band and the crowd were incredible.

• lucky pigs! i only have the privilage to see trent reznor in dvds...

• I was there. Brussels and ny shows were btter, but that's just cos birmingham's venue sucked balls.

• Bring back Danny, Robin, And Charlie!!!

• They should start with a fast song.

The show I went to started with Mr Self Destruct and then they went right into Last!

That got you your fucking attention my friend!

• What? Hyperpower made for an awesome intro, also remember they are promoting Year Zero.

• Personally since I avoid anyone holding a camera, pictures or video, this was interesting to see the artistic work and the usage of lights and darks from behind the lens. The spiral effect at the start is disorienting, very well executed camera work, and enjoyable to watch the whole concept unfold. Thank you for sharing this.

• me 2 it was rather good, i loved it when they played the songs no you dont, ruiner and day the world went away cus i really didnt expect them to play those songs :)

• Wooooo im at the front!

• Amazing

• fuck this almost makes me cry...i want to see nine inch nails again so badly. trent reznor is fucking amazing. he's brilliant. year zero is great.. like every other album he ever put together.

• I was there man... was well cool.. :)

• Aaron is great, but his sloppiness just goes too far a lot of the time.

• agreed....Robin played the "parts" and wasn't swinging his guitar around like a dingus and throwing the notes out of pitch....he gets on my nerves, Aaron that is.

• I must agree... I mean, Josh Freese is one of the top drummers in the hard rock industry, so I've alwayus been a big fan of him... And I do like Jeordie when he was with A Perfect Circle and Marilyn Manson, but I still yearn for Robin Finck, Danny Lohner, and Charlie Clouser to be onstage with Trent again!!! I mean they would do a helluva better job with the live performance of "Year Zero" and "With Teeth" than Aaron, Jeordie, and Alessandro....

• "hyperpower" then the start of the "begining of the end" both tracks are on new NIN album Year zero it truly is lovely stuff.

• what song was that ? anyone know.

• Are you kidding me? You're soooooo obviously not a NIN fan.

• are you ready to rock????? ha ha who says that?

• A cease and desist has been issued: FUCK FALL OUT FUCKIN BOY!!!!!!!

• HYPERPOWER!

• I can remember Jeordie coming onstage with his cowboy hat on.

• God I love NIN! Can't wait to see them back home!

• NIN neeeeeds to come back to the states sooo bad

• They're not wearing those security uniforms anymore?

• wtf ? how is it weird to 2 watch muscians its called entertainment dumbass

• Well, so----rry. (Think Steve Martin.)

• FUCKIN HYPERPOWER! GO JOSH GO!!!

• MOREE!!!!!

• Thanks - I was there!!!! Brings it all bck *sigh*

• I LOVE IT!! COME BACK HOME AND PLAY:)

• Thank-you Thank-you Thank-you Thank-you Thank-you

This is great! Always wonder what happens in the minutes leading up to them getting on stage. I loved seeing Trent as he pounces (right word? swaggers perhaps?) onto the stage. Brilliant

• quit singing along...

• I saw them in May, and I'm seeing them twice more in 13 days! EIIIIIIIE so excited :)

• Love the crowd singing along. Hate the seizure inducing lights at the intro.

• Truly an amazing performance. I've got no words to describe how much I want to see it again.

• attentionwhore

• well done!!!!!i love it :D

• I WAS THERE! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeee!!!

Thanks for the vid Rob.

• Very nice! Thanks for uploading it so quickly!

• NIN ROCKS!!!!

• Last night was ACE!!!

• I liked it when he started slaggin off the past couple of festivals they performed at and when he bashed his microphone, he was rather annoyed about the back screen they couldnt have up, dont blame him.

• 2:50 - Terrible Lie from Closure version 2 :D

• Thanks for sharing ! :-)

• Greetings from Italy

• Just curious but is Jerodie White still with the band? It's kinda hard to see on this. Kick ass footage by the way! :)

• i think im seizuring....aarrrggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

• It's such a cliché the way Trent says "You guys ready, Ok, Lets Do It!" you know he's saying it to the camera.

• Great video. Hope there will be a new live DVD coming out.

• Thanx 4 the video...thx 4 the music... thanx 4 touring Europe... THANX NIN 4 EXISTING... so thanx TRENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• wow looks like a great show! wish i was there!

• Wow, awesome. Love that footage of Josh during HYPERPOWER!

He kicks so much ass.

• And this whole time I thought they threw battery acid on their faces to pump them up before going on stage.

• Awesome.

• fuckNINg BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

exCeLLenT boyS

evil_ethics

• Nifty shit. Love the new site.

Trent, Pennsylvania misses you. Badly. ;_; Why not show us some love?

• awesome :)

• I think this is like the crappy stuff Rob recorded on his Iphone?

• Nice to see some backstage stuff again. Takes me back to the good 'ol days of The Hole.

• Coool. THX for playing in Czech Republic by the way :)

• Robbb save some for the DVD
