  • hey adam, i'm adam too. anyway, this is the best diy jib i've seen online - and i've looked a LOT. it's the lever action - using the tripod head's tilt. good work!

  • No. That's a good point, I should have mentioned that in the video.

  • Is the tripod included in the price of 70$?

  • how did you attach it to the tripod?

  • @theawesomesteven Hey sorry to respond soooooooo late. I removed the small "bolt" from the tripod plate, and threaded two longer bolts through the plate. I drilled two holes for the bolts in the jib "fulcrum" part, and secured it with a couple wing-nuts.

  • @adamdbrowne Thanks :)

  • This is awesome! I am going to try making this.

  • This is nice. I will make one using your design but with metal.

  • awesome.....now you could make another out of some thermally modified poplar and it would be weather and rot proof!

  • Yeah. I went for pine because it was cheap (but not the cheapest) and because it was light. My tripod can only hold so much weight, and I had to bike back from lowes with all the supplies, jousting style. I had to look through the whole pile to find two that were straight enough.

  • Hey, Adam! Great job! This is Sean from TVC, so now you know someone has commented on your vid haha
