the sound is amazing and I love that you take the to explain its context and everything. So well done, you wanted it be professional and that's exactly what you got. Well Done :)
Suspenseful, well-acted, intelligently storyboarded and shot. I'm glad you added the explanatory discussion at the end. It can't be easy to study each constituent storytelling and technical craft individually .... and then meld that learning and experience into a seamless, aesthetic whole. You can take pride in having presented the fans with a gripping tale that involves us without a lot of gimmickry.
I'm so glad you walked us through your techniques at the end of the film. You answered every question I was going to ask!! It's kind of weird how people keep asking you how you did things that you already answered in the film O,o lol!
Wow, you are one good filmmaker. If you were in America, you got my vote, for best Director. I only wish I had you to Direct my screenplay for "Watching You". I wanted to Direct it but, just don't have the budget for it. The Camera I have is a Panasonic 3ccd, but, can not get the look, and DOF that I want. Your Cameras, are great, and one day, I will get the gear I need to get this film done. Best wishes, and keep up the good work. I look forward to your next film. Thanks for sharing.
Great job! On a side note, and this may have already been mentioned, but at 2:26 there is a translation error. the caption says "I don't now" and it should be "I don't know".
@stavafilm Thanks mate! :) I was standing on top of a stepladder I had placed on a floating pier, and filmed straight down. You can achieve everything by being creative! :D
By the way, just build a story around it and pitch it for financing. It looks incredible. Really if you could develop a script based on the visuals you'd have a high chance of finding financing.
Am loving the trailer and special effects :) good job and keep it up. I recently started doing video editing and using Sony vegas, too poor to get a mac, final cut or decent SLR camera :( but soon. Am using a HD camcorder through. And pictures are good quality and am trying to get a blur background effect, any ideas? :)
Two questions... Could you suggest a program for titles with so nice results like Motion but not for Mac? And the second... You said something about image stabilization at 5:45 but I didn't get it...
