  • Thanks so much for this. I've had a sewing machine for years but haven't used it in probably 2. I could not for the life of me find instructions to wind the bobbin. This was very helpful and clear!

  • @UnBeAuTiFulGiLmOrE I'm so glad I could help! Have a Happy New Year and a GREAT sewing year!

  • Thanks so much. I received this machine for Christmas and threading the bobbin was the biggest complaint. I have been afraid to get started because of it, but your very clear video has given me confidence. Many thanks.

  • @SuperSusantaylor I'm so happy you got your confidence back! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, especially with such a neat gift!

  • Thanks SO much!! I am making a quilt for the man I'm dating; it's my first quilt and I was totally stuck on the bobbin threading. (My mom is not available to help me at the moment.) This video is a life saver! ^_^

  • @CaptainImaginaut What a sweetie you are to do that for your boyfriend. I'm sure your quilt will turn out amazing!

  • It is a good really video, but next time, pleaseeee, use shoes.

  • @BunnyshtoCherri You're welcome! Happy sewing!

  • It's so wonderful that people take the time to post things like this on the internet. Never would have figured out to push the spindle one centimeter to the right! Thanks!

  • @nnevvinn LOL... I know, I was the same way. It took some trial and error before I figured it out. So happy I could help other folks with it!

  • Gah! Thank you so much. I'm trying to get into sewing and could not remember how to do this. Thanks again!

  • @TreehuggerStacyify So glad I could help! Have fun sewing!

  • @hbnole Thank ye! Now if I could ONLY sew a straight line... XD

  • @natalienatalliiee Too funny! :)

  • Thank you for these videos for 2600i. I wanted to see these before buying the m/c. You have done a great job in these clear and steady videos. It'll help me a lot.

  • @kishorsshah Thank you very much for your kind words. Did you decide to buy it? Looking forward to seeing what you make!

  • Thanks so much for this detailed video,,it helped alot !!!

  • @Txjane You're certainly welcome! I'm glad it helped.

  • What do the numbers on the bobbins mean? 17, 18, 19?

  • @sammietr I think those are part numbers, to make sure you're getting the same type bobbin you had previously. (Some of them have VERY subtle differences.)

  • guess what? YOUR AWESOOOOME!! I have the same sewing machine and i was like ahhh cant figure this out and thanks to you ima sew my pikachu hat ^^

  • @lolchanele I'm so glad you found it helpful! I can't wait to see your Pikachu hat -- please post a vid of it! Pika pika!

  • @hbnole yesss I will soon!! :D well i messed up the first time so i decided to make a kitty hat instead and it turned out perfect on the second try :D

  • @hbnole I uploaded my video :D it's not about the hat but I was wearing it in the video :D

  • I just wound my first bobbin - all because of you. You are a Goddess. I am so excited

  • @kazywaz LOL! Yay you!! So exciting! you're doing great!

  • Thank you so much. A video is so much more informative than reading the instruction

    manual

  • @kazywaz You're welcome. I'm so glad it helped you!

  • You're a great teacher, thanks but I still want to know if as a beginner I can use this machine without complications? has it served you well?

  • @okekemadue Thank you for the kind words. Yes, this machine has been just exactly what I needed. It is easy to use and yet has some "fancy" things on it like button holes that help you do more than you'd think. I really like this machine and I'd recommend it to a beginner like me.

  • Hello. Is there any video that explains how to change the rubber that makes the bobbin winder work?................... In my machine just burnt or broke and I need to change it...................... you know how to?

  • @carpinterika I did some searching over the last few days and I couldn't find anything that might help you. What I'd suggest is calling your machine's manufacturer, or writing them a help request on their website. The other thing I would try is going to your local sewing machine store and asking them. Even the folks at a fabric store like Joann might be able to help you.

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @digisake You're welcome!

  • Wow, if only all the manufacturers would post the how-to's like this, they'd sell a lot more sewing machines - especially to those who never had a basic, one-semester of home economics! I haven't sewn in about 30 years and have forgotten all the basics, like loading a bobbin. You're a peach for taking the time to do this for folks like me. I loved all the details and especially the "why" of why you do things a certain way. You made it look so simple. Thanks!

  • @newbeequilter You're welcome! Thanks so much for your kind words. I hope you'll share what you're working on. (BTW, I love your handle. Too cute!)

  • thanks! this helped a lot :)

  • @xXElegantBeautyXx You're welcome!

  • Awesome!! I have had my XL-2600i since May but have been intimidated by it (very little sewing machine experience) but I am SO glad you have posted these videos that will give me the confidence I needed. Just in time so I can use my sewing machine on the new table I built for it last week!!! So, so excited!! Thanks so very much for the detailed and clear videos.

  • @mlgatillon You're so welcome! I'm glad they were helpful. Would love to see your sewing table!
