@spadehatesscrewtube yeah I apparently should have read back through my response. I've been in Belgium awhile, but English is my first language. But I used nail scissors when I was younger before using nail clippers. They are real! And I have a solid brain. And I love this story. It's timeless.

@spadehatesscrewtube Nail scissors are a real thing, actually, they just aren't terribly common. I believe they're meant for small nails or minor cosmetic issues in older children and adults. As for the "hedge clippers/scissors" debate, that one's probably based on personal preference. @hartduncan, am I wrong on that?
