Have you played a Fifa game lately? I was a big PES man myself but since PES 08/Fifa 08 I believe Fifa has taken over in both gameplay and presentation.

I didn't want to give Fifa a try again, but I'm glad I did. It's the best soccer game on the market imo.

So if you haven't given it a chance, I suggest you just hire it and see how it is. You might become a convert like myself.

I've played ever fifa game since 05 and the computers tactics has not changed one bit. If you steal the ball from them when they have stole it from you a few seconds after they go insane to get the ball. If the game is 0-0 and its 2 half there will score with in 20 game min. It is the same fustrating gameplay until you get use to it. The extra features easy my pain after I lost a newcastle vs hamilton game 1-2 in the manager mode. but I would rather play fifa street 2 instead.

I have been a firm fan of pro evo since its inception. However I was so disapointed with pro evo 2008 that I decided I was not going to buy the new game. However I love my footy games so I bought fifa 09 and I can honestly say it is the finest football sim I have ever played and I have played both pes 09 and fifa 09. Fifa is the pinacle of football sim experience!

only thing i got annoyed by fifa is the team management. pes easily helps makes you edit formations easily as one two three fifa 09 you cant make custom. you can but you have to d it from the menu. and all that stuff. pes is much more simple but sucks it has no official teams and such
