i am an exchange student in the us right now, and yes i am from germany!!!! I just wonder why everybody thinks that we hate americans.... so many people asked me that question and its always the same answer.... NO!!!! We dont hate you, we are not jealous, and germany is very modern as well! there are just to many stereo types and the only way to prove them wrong is to travel and make the experience on your own. many people would be surprised!

@SxRJumper It's really the only way to do Europe. You don't learn the culture if you're there as a tourist.. I was in Frankfurt for one month as an exchange student and it couldn't have been better.. I'm in the process of planning another trip on my own for a year. I plan to stay with the same people and do my american school online. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is if you ever get the chance to be an exchange student for any amount of time in Germany, DO IT!!
