an amazing song! it makes me emotional every time I listen to it, now I know the meaning, but I remember that the first time that I heard it I also was almost crying she really knows how to use her voice to create emotions, the feeling of the song is just that emotional even without literally understanding the full meaning. she is....umm... her father is African-American(I heard that he was a soldier.)and her mother is Korean. As you can see, her voice is somewhat resembles a little bit black people's. Try to listen to her another songs. this one is Great, of course, but the other ones are great, too. :)
