@thefirefly321 whenever people say "US soldiers died for WBC's right to express their stupid opinion," i always get the impression that they're leaving out the conclusion: "...and therefore, they shouldn't be allowed express it!" well, they didn't die for it after all, did they? yes, they should be made aware of the perceived irony, but it's only ironic if they're actually allowed to protest, otherwise the soldiers died in vain (by this logic).

A Church has the right to tell anyone to get off its property. So that is at least across the street. I say screw anyone that interrupts a funeral. The dead no matter how they got that way should be able to rest in peace. I'm on Bill's side and the ACLU are wrong for doing this. Its civil rights against doing the right thing. You nuts have you're time this isn't part of you're time. You don't have to right to prevent a peaceful funeral from taking place. Those holding signs are going to hell.

And Bill claimed all cemeteries are public property which is an outright lie or he just doesn't know any better. There's lots of family owned private property cemeteries. Also you talk about the Constitution well who fought for it to even become ideas. Soldiers yeah 1776 to 1781. A war happened where Soldiers that you hate died. So without them you wouldn't have the rights you take for granted.

Adams Jefferson, Monroe, Madison like others involved in the forming of the constitution in 1787 and 1789 had morals that are the same as mine. And just because someone might find protesting like such immoral, a person based on principle, would not try to force their morals onto others. Because doing such would violate the principle of sovereignty. For example, in the old days, if I challenged you to a dual, you could accept or refuse. If I forced you to dual, now that would violate the principle in name of my morals. You have it backwards.
