Kenny Loggins heavenly golf course choir was just a few seconds on the "I'm Alright" 45, but stretched out for the movie intro sounds sweet! Using the sprinklers for a rythmn section was genius. I think there's even cowbell before the gopher starts dancing.

Yeah, I've often said the same thing! I know it's kinda cliche to mention a rap group, but I think the folks who could best "reinvent" the song for a new audience while preserving its original sentimental cool is Camp Lo. They'd have to use the version from the movie though as the original album cut doesn't have the superbly mixed & prolonged instrumentation that makes the opening shots of 'CaddyShack' so special.
