  • Correction Obama a circumcised Dick....

  • JUST KEEP PRESSING 4...

  • ..Perhaps Mark Halperin meant President Obama was being like Richard Nixon?..

  • He was being a dick. When a word fits so well, you just have to use it.

  • Comment removed

  • And who gets bamboozled, okie-doke'd & played by Joe S. Mika B.? Halperin is stupid...he's a chump...punk...and a sucker.

  • A dick calling someone else a dick. Somebody get the smelling salts.

  • So much for free speach. What has this nation come to when a person cannot express their opinion and not be punished for it! MSNBC was warned what was coming and still let it go. Any number of republicans were insulted & nothing has happened. But insult President Obama...BAM!!!!...they throw you off the show. Whoever said MSNBC is not biased, how wrong you are! It does not matter if Mark was right or wrong, what matters is he was punished for giving his opinion and MSNBC knew it was coming.

  • @wmthewyld It is a free nation and MSNBC was "free" to suspend him. Let's see, am I free to do whatever I want at MY job without repercussions or reprisals? Nope.

  • @arr0gant1 Fist I never said this was not a free nation. I talked about freedom of speach. Second, if you tell your boss you are going to do "something". You checked to see if safeguards were in effect. Then do it and get in trouble for it...is that right? Mr. Halperin informed MSNBC he was going to say something they may not like. Chalk this up to the golden rule: Those(MSNBC) with the GOLD, make the rules.

  • @wmthewyld I totally agree. It's almost like they baited and encouraged him. All that said, you DON'T call the President Of The United States a dick on a show like this.

  • @arr0gant1 Exactly what I believe, no matter how much you hate him(not you) you should respect the office he holds"any number of Republicans" are not the President so therefore it is not the same number one, number two it wasn't just an insult but a very vulgar term he used, number three if ever "any number of Republicans" are called a dick on national TV and "nothing happens" then you(wmthewyld) have a case until then that point is not truthful or valid.

  • @wmthewyld “So much for free speach.” Check spelling: speech.

  • @FreeSpeechTuber Who kares.

  • @wmthewyld “Any number of republicans were insulted & nothing has happened.” Check grammar: subject-verb number agreement (i.e., the subject, “number”, is singular, the verb, “were”, should be used with plural nouns, may also be used with “you” singular).

  • @FreeSpeechTuber Who cares

  • @wmthewyld Rephrase: Many republicans were insulted & nothing has happened. BTW… I’m sure none were called a “dick” on the program, including Democrats. Otherwise, the name caller would have certainly suffered the same consequences as Mark Halperin.

  • @wmthewyld There is still hope for Mark. “Indefinitely” is not necessarily “forever”. It is just an unspecified or undisclosed amount of time. Once the initial shockwave and all subsequent aftershocks have subsided, and if Mark can redeem himself and/or convincingly assure MSNBC that nothing like that will ever happen again, MSNBC might reconsider his suspension.

  • @wmthewyld He wanted to express his personal (not objective) opinion to everyone on the show, but not to the public watching the show. An error in judgment caused him to take a knowingly potentially career-altering chance on the show. He effectively played Russian roulette with his career and lamentably lost.

  • @wmthewyld Mark Halperin was a political analyst on the show. As an analyst, his opinion should have been objective, not personal. Mark was fully aware that his comments would have negative consequences. That is why he asked about the “seven second delay”.

  • @wmthewyld MSNBC = The Obama Channel.

  • Good for him. He got suspended and you are not allowed to say that on national televison that is a live broadcasting channel.

  • @JamesBond6773 Actually, MSBC is a cable channel, not broadcast; therfore you can technically say whatever you want vis-a-vis standards and practices legalese.

  • @JamesBond6773 So how many MSNBC anchors got suspended for comparing Bush to Hitler? None.

  • I wouldn't have used that word but yes, Obama was wrong all over the place in that press conference.

  • freedom of speech, now he has now job, poor guy, and I would like to say the president is acting like a dick.... there cant fire me i'm unemployed!!!!!! president changed me and my dad alright changed us out of a job, again DICK!
