I modify the classic victor traps cuz the small mice just steal the bait . I bend the little lever were the bar catches the lip . Doing that makes it really sensitive . Little harder to set but u will have big success .

i have the victor traps, the new ones, it's nice because you don't have to touch the mice when you throw them out, i know the guy said put the bait on the end of the steel piece but it works better if you put it in the top under lip about and 2 inchs, then the mouse will try to reach for it hitting the steel trigger and it's game over.

.for bait the mice seem to always get the peanut butter off so what i did was got a piece of dog food moist and wired a fish hook to the triggerand put the dog food on the hook that way the mouse has to pull the trigger.. i hope it will work i just tried it tonight i will check the traps in the mornin b4 school

I did that fork trap video.. I've used the plastic cheese traps and we didn't capture any mice with them.. we went back to the victors, and caught the mice we were trying to catch.. But it was probably that we set up the plastic trap up wrong. It also says on the package that you don't need the cheese, hmmm.

Anyhow, I didn't think of the mouse removal part on the snap traps, that's interesting, that's definately better than the wire traps.

BTW, I'm not affiliated with victor or such.

victor mousetraps are not low quallity. In the winter, I took out 5 mice in my cabnets useing 1 victor trap in only 6 days

i have killed 3 mouses in 2 nighs w my victor trap, the cheap one, i just got me some peanut butter and tape to attach the trap to the floor.... the lil suckers were so hungry to stay alive... hahaha!!!!

then the victor your totally wrong, Becouse the tomcat brand has to be bushed down harder to be set off, Becouse the tomcat is mouse power full then the

Perhaps sensitive is the wrong word. I have had problems with the Victor trap where the bait is eaten without the trap being triggered. The ones with the big pad seem to trigger more reliably. I don't recall that happening with the brand that has the big yellow pad.
