@Soysauceb4ketchup >.< Could you people please read the video description before posting that? I am aware of this. It is still a fluke, since what they present you as "Thor kills the destroyer" is not the music track playing during the destroyer scene. It's the end credits. Both music tracks only share the first few seconds, then they are different. The music during that scene is not on the soundtrack at all. So they basically screwed up twice in that department.
Yeah i agree with kymusashi, cuz in the movie, this is the version they use in the pre-credit cosmos scene. "Thor Kills the Destroyer" sounds completely different. This version played here is the actual movie mix at the end..its like a "suite" in a way.
I remember 00:22 to 00:50 was on the main menu of the movie... I sat there rolled a blunt and smoked to that score then sat there an xtra 40 mins just takin it in
This track is actually called "Thor Kills the Destroyer" on the OST. Only the first 10 seconds are in the film where Thor actually kills the Destroyer. The rest is an awesome mix that I uploaded ;)
@DinoDude65 Well that depends on what version of the OST you have. There are 4 versions of the soundtrack album floating around, be it retail or itunes. On the version I have, this is labeled "Thor kills the destroyer" (I explained all this in the video description...) while "Earth to Asgard" is a remix of "prologue". On some versions, this piece is missing entirely. Be it as it may, these are the unedited, original end credits of the movie as they were on my version of the OST. No remix :)
I provided a .FLAC file and a 320kbps MP3 download in the description. They're both excellent quality. It's just that Windows Movie Maker depreciated the quality when I made the video.
Quite possibly the best ending credits theme I've heard ever. It really is too bad this isn't on the OST. Maybe its on the score? This is the second biggest OST fail behind the Sunshine one. Can't believe they botched the Adagio in that one... It was the only song anyone even wanted -.-
I'm glad I'm not the only one... This theme was embedded into my mind!! Of all things to remember, I remember the Views of Asgard with this theme as the end creds roll!!
I was pissed off too man! This track and the one in the movie when thor kills the destroyer. Those were the highlights and they aren't on the soundtrack :/
@atomickirko AHA! I thought I was imagining things. Maybe there's a difference betwenn the itunes and the retail version of the soundtrack? Which would be ridiculous, but I can totally see them doing that.
@punisherFredy Best way to do that would be sofftware to record the youtube sound ;) But yeah, I can to that, might take a day though, I am not at home at the moment >.<
This version is different to the version on the soundtrack I have. 1:05 - 1:25 is completely nonexistant on the version I have. Sucks because its the best part of the song
Being a soundtrack nerd myself, I at least appreciate you going throug hthe trouble of finding the correct music. I can relate to that sensation of being eaten alive untill you get that shit in order...
@Regnar665 I've read that there are 4 alternative versions from the track. one in the film, one on the soundtrack and 2 more. They are all in the film score monthly cd ... I hope someone uploads them.
@mistershadow13 Dude. Get a life. Making new accounts just write the same nonsense again and AGAIN is just sad. Watch the damn movie. LISTEN. And please, get a damn life.
Okay. AGAIN for the hearing impared. Track TWENTY is NOT the piece used in the actual destroyer scene. Start the movie (I am doing this slowly so you can keep up), go to the destroyer scene and LISTEN. After the first few seconds the main theme ends and an entirely differnet piece is used. You know the scene when everyone things Thor is dead and the hammer flies into his hand? Yes? LISTEN carefully and you will find out that after a few seconds, the music is NO longer track 20.
Thanks for uploading this cause I'd already mistaken the other cue as the ending music after I saw this movie, and I almost listen to that for 2 months , in order to imagine the space scenes of the ending of Thor. It's ridiculous and now I finally find that it's fake memory, just like the movie "Inception", haha~!
Epic Bowl.
