  • I bought this album for one song, but as I have done, I played the whole album. My brother taught me that, anyway, I listened to the whole thing and ended up loving the whole thing. I played this album until it finally warped. Now it is just sitting in the jacket, and warped or not, I take it out every now and again and play the whole thing from beginning to end. I am a true Chic SuperFan!!!!!

  • My favorite Chic song.

  • Łapka w górę jeśli sprowadzają Cie tu lekcje Penderowskiego :)

  • oh yeah!

  • CHIC foi a mehor banda Disco da história!!!!!

  • very classy sound, awesome vocals and rhythm, people nowadays don't know what this was all about...all of their photos were top of the line too, I guess more like risque...cool very, cool

  • Very Great post , A great song is when the words have meaning and the band is jamming. This could have been an instrumental. Chic had a product everytime out...I waiting for you to post "Your love is cancelled" by Chic.

  • dope!

  • WHAT ABOUT ME?

  • @babah77088

I Gave My Love Don't You See?

  • man, i played this song to death when i first bought that album all those years ago. my mates hated it becasue they were not into disco at all. this song still sounds great to me.

  • 1979 was a decent year!

  • Immortal song. Fantastic compilation of disco beats with great vocals of the 70s. Love this <3

  • and also Phats& Small - On da flo yo sample....

  • Your sophisticated NYC sound from back in the day when NYC was the center of the dance world.

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! <3 IT!!!

  • /watch?v=PfKy8haPXGM

best remix of this song !! new funky hosue.. i love it

  • FANTASTIC !!

  • The very best of chic i love

  • Was this ever a hit in the charts???

  • @xXflava01Xx

It was the B side to My forbidden lover.

  • @TIBBSY ok

  • @TIBBSY dude that's insane that this was a B side. CHIC is fucking untouchable

  • @xXflava01Xx

No.... in fact it was a B-Side much to my disappointment

    .

  • Love this joint!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My favorit group of the seventies

  • The best!

  • les meilleurs de leur epoque, nile roger et bernard edwards

  • Another favorite of mine from this immortal group, the groove, the vocals, it's so, so, good. Music will never be this good to any of us again, I'm convinced of that, quality 70's R&B, R.I.P. Nard' and T.

  • @3811iberis and now Raymond who I think is burning the piano on this tune :(

    Chic forever!

  • @TheBirdBrothers - Yes, at the age of 52, he lived the longest out of the deceased members, Bernard & Tony both passed before they reached age 50, R.I.P. Raymond Jones...

  • Semplicemente fantastici...

    Meravigliosi Chic...

    Che anni...

    Ritmo e fantasia...grandi

EPICI

  • Great song of my younger lifetime...love it! Thx so much!

  • Chic,great group!Disco 70's e 80's!I miss you!

  • I hadn't heard this song in ages... Thanks for posting! I absolutely agree, Chic are the Beatles of Disco. They sound better and better as time goes by.

  • Great song. Rumor has it the Chic organization was inspired from an old Richard Pryor joke when they wrote this song.

  • What year was this song out?

  • 1979

  • Chic perfection!

  • I remember the hit"We are family",now I found the rest of chic.Geting older,geting wiser.

  • so stylish and sexy.....love every second.....

  • i love this but i prefer it a little more sped up...which i used to do on my turntable. it is a great track. the vocals were always ignored by the critics but i always thought chic's vocals were right on the money. those ladies sang so well together.

  • Hey Tibbsy wasnt this one on the "Real People" Album from 1980 ? I am sure as I was always playing it a lot and loved it then, still sounds brand new even today! has anyone got the Real People Album the tracks on there are magic,

Real People, I want to live my life with some real people, yeah, yeah !

  • It was off the album Risque which featured Good Times, it was the B side for My Forbidden Lover.

  • @TIBBSY closed out Risqué in classy sassy style. Theres a nice demo version on the amazing boxset btw.

  • I have it!!

  • Nope, this was on the album Risqué (1979).

  • The Edwards-Rodgers influence...

  • Just when I think I've heard the best Chic ever, someone comes along and uploads an even better one. Thank you Tibbsy!

  • Lol I am only surprised some people are only just discovering them.
