Pakistan used to be the western part of India and the Taj was built long before it's independence in 1947. I got there in the early morning and the Taj Mahal was enshrouded in mist. As the mist wore off the Taj was resplendent in the morning sunlight. I hired a boatman to take me across the river so I could get some photos of it with the reflection in the river.

I hope everyone know the Mughals are not pure Turks. When the Babur Invade India,yes they were pure Turks. But when the Mughals converted the Indians to Muslims they inter-married. Akbar the Great married two Rajput princess for a royal marriage between the Mughals and the Rajputs. One of the wives gave birth to Jahangir and Shah Jahan,witch are Akbar's successors. It is Indian because all the stone masonry , craftsmen ship was performed by Indian artists.
And you are right the craftsmenship of Indian temples was first employed by Akbar and then his son Shah Jahan in creating the mughal architecture. Which is a blend of several different styles. Even now it is the Indian craftsmen from all over India who do restoration work in and around Taj which has been used for centuries in other places.

studies say tht taj was built much before than shah jahan`s era and its knwn as "tejo mahal" which is lord shiva`s temple...
now what if hindu`s start a topic abt this ? if we really want,, hindus can start a dharna against this.... now stop being a kid and just admire the beauty... ppl who built this beauty are no more alive to take pleasure of this beauty.. now we have a chance.. so b4 we end our lives lets admire this beauty rather than orgumenting abt whos is that.

Claims from a 'crackpot' historian P.N Oak don't have much credibility really, unless you think that the Kaaba and the Vatican were also hindu temples.

well.. i don think u gt my point.. u and i and may be a few ppl knw this fact.. but the politicians just need a reason to strt a religious war... i just mean to say forget abt all those and enjoy the beauty .. peace.
