i know there is already a bolt like the one in this rifle for left handed, but can you order the McMillan TAC-50 directly with the left handed bolt without buying the rifle first and then purchase a left handed bolt ?
and if so, is the stock and the rest for both left and right handed or not ?
@stilltormentin with the metal prices going ape-shit even building your own ammo is an investment. Once you pull the trigger on a .50 theres NO going back, so better have a SUPPLY of ammo or several thousand pounds of cases and bullets.
@MrSniperscope if i must beleve what rob furlong says in that part of inside the croshairs, he was pretty accurate with one chambered in 750 grain hornady A-MAX at almost 2.5km range
atleast he said after his second shot, he knew exactly where the bullet has to be put
so i woud say yes, but i still must mention that it also depends witch round is used
@Gunsand42 Sorry, but your info is incorrect... we don't make our own rounds, they were still american too. So next time you guys make a new batch again, well show you how to use them too!
@jimmy69oh69 iv seen the biography of the shot they made and at first they said they were using Canadian .50 ammo then a friend from there base gave them some american .50 ammo thats when they started to hit targets
@Gunsand42 Ok, I see your a bit slow and assume too much. So here's a lesson for you our "Canadian ammo"and our "Canadian guns" and really made in your United states that make America. Our CF-18's are just your F-18's with our cool sticker on them and a fancy "C" in front of it. There are not made at our new ford flex factory as you might have guessed. But can you guess what that Fancy "C" stands for? I have no clue and have saked everyone!
@amdz64 Oh man, I dream of owning a Tac-308 too. Start saving up the $7500-$8000 needed. I asked for free samples and they're all out! Sure a Tac-50 would drop a haji at 2430 meters. But with a Tac-308 you make it a bit more personal when you pop up and wave after... at 2430M he won't see you smile.
@Stefanobittu even in my opinion there isnt an true best sniper rifle
though, if what i readed about my favorit rifle is true, i think my favorit is still my favorit
it is the Istiglal IST 14.5x114mm anti mateirel sniper rifle
though i realy woud like to see it being judged by some shooter and being compared with an McMillan tac-50 and an lobaev SVL qua range and power on ranges at 1.6km, 2km and 2.2km
@stilltormentin the bullets are like 5$ each at leasr. which is still expensive as fuck

and nowone ever mentions the mcmillan tac-50
