  • @babapoopoo I'm the fucking terminator

  • V: "you find your own tree" xD

  • Ahahaha! I love the part where he's saying the text along with the film. There's something so endearing about that :)

"Would you prefer a lie or the truth?"

Well, that kinda gives it away, doesn't it?

  • "Put the sword away." LMAO. I love Natalie with a UK accent.

  • @KTBEverlasting yeah, it's so bad you gotta like it

  • @StonesAllAround87 At first, I thought my comment was top one. Nope. Went back 3 pages.

  • 1:29 He's like AH SHIT

  • @dloc0925 Really? He looked pretty happy to me.

  • @gunman30001 i was noting that if that was me next to Evey I would be thinking "Ah crap, she's gonna know I killed that guy."

  • OMG the part where he says the movie line....AWWWW

    c:

  • O.K. Now I gotta see that movie!

  • haha he even pretends to choke himself :)

  • It's hard to tell whether or not V is just insane or a child at heart. Either way, it's adorable and makes me love his character even more. ^_^

  • PS, I love how she sounds all chill and not freaking out when he tells her "I killed them"

  • NERDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would do that to, if I was allowed a sword and suit of armour in my room.

  • @XeliaMatrixJones

    That would be fun!

  • When he is talking to Evey about the film, you can see his face slightly on our left and his right

  • Funny how when she see's him and he see's her, he is so embarrassed and he is saying oh god.

  • Crazy V :D

  • I bet you 60$ thats hwta everypne did at one point of time.

  • Great part of the film.

  • "did you have anything to do with that?"..."yes, i killed him"

"are you going to kill more people"..."yes"

i love how hes so upfront.

  • 2 dislikes?!?!? Are you freaking kidding me. This movie shouldn't even have a dislike button. Shame on you haters.

  • Lol does V have some sort of disorder with that brain of his? He's an odd fellow but awesome nonetheless :)

  • @Raptor3946 Well, if they were to stick you in a cell, beat the shit out of you, inject you with a potentially deadly virus, then try killing you with fire, you'd probably have some sort of disorder too. :-D

  • this is why I love this movie, just little moments like this XD

  • lol "Would You Prefer The Lie Or The Truth?"

  • I <3 V SOOOOOOO much! He's so nerdy and child-like. He can cook and is just plain AWESOME!!!!! I would love to spend one day with him.

  • well he's honest.

  • P.S. I love this whole scene, but I giggle so much at 1:05-1:12 when he recites the line, it looks like it brings out the "kid" in him and brings him so much joy. His slight embarrassment is totally adorable too. :)

  • I love how nerdy he is with that movie, he even memorized the lines. So freaking adorable. :)

  • 1:02

  • haha i love when he the head rolls over to eveys feet and v is like oh god... hahahh thats my favorite part

  • It's funny how you can still see his emotions even through his mask.

  • lol " my fat metal friend" XD

  • V-3 I love how he fights with swords and everyone else uses guns

  • RANDOM FACT: In Steven Moore's (no relation to Allan Moore the comic writer) book based on the screenplay, the line was "Are you going to kill more people" "yes." are you going to kill me?" V stood up as if he intended to comfort her. "No. Evey I could never-" "No...dont...dont touch me" and then she goes off to her room.

  • Swashbuckling V!!!

  • "AHA! My fat metal friend!"

  • What kind of T.V. automatically switches from the DVD player (Or VHS, or blu-ray) to the cable/satellite?

  • @RuskePerson Maybe V had DVR? =/

  • "My fat metal friend"

  • 1:03 is totally how rio should've ended

  • Lol, she catches him being a big nerd, and he's embarrassed. XD

  • "And... are you going to kill more people?

    Yes." :)

  • I love V! He's so cute.

  • "would you prefer a lie or the truth" lol

  • he's so wonderfully dorky omgghfjdksl;a its adorable

  • "You seem upset." "Of course I'm ruddy upset you murdered someone!!!"

Oh V, how nonchalant you are~

  • If I could find a sword as light as that I could wield it the same way

  • i love how he's so embarrassed when she catches him being a huge nerd. :)

  • gets me every time... o.0 :)

  • i do this all the time, but with a lightsaber and darth maul standup, i don't know about the rest of you. :)

  • thats the best scene 0:02 to 0:30

  • EVE... E is 5th letter of the Alphabet V is 5th last letter of the Alphabet..Eve also symbolizes the Mother...V is Vatican - The Mother Church..V is the Black Pope.. the most powerful man on Earth today .V is roman Numeral "5".. Remember , Remember the "5th" of November.. The symbolism in this movie is the Black Popes plan of depopulation thru vaccines, etc.. take away common law - so Vatican can dominate like they did during the Middle Aages. Count of Monte Christo = mount christ.

  • V- is THE Black POPE..Vatican..! Guy Fawkes day is also called The Pope Day.. this dude is no HERO.. The burning of the parliment house symbolizes- abolishment of common law -replace it with CANON LAW (no freedom , no rights- just like the times of the Middle Ages when RC Church dominated) Check out The Heirphant Card (Pope Card) in the Tarot deck..The roman numeral "V" is above the Popes head , he holds a cross with 3 horizontal bars in it.. the same cross symbol is in the movie too!

  • V is quite a good fencer, even if he's only doing by himself.

  • I just realized the actor for Elrond from LOTR, Agent Smith from The Matrix and V is the same person -.- ARGHHH

  • V and Erik from Phantom of the opera should play golf togther, They'll get along real well.

  • I Plan on watching that film " Count of monte cristo " is it any good ?

  • @TehMushrooms Greatest tale of revenge there is. Talk about getting back at the assholes who screwed you over. Yikes. Suits V to a T. No wonder he loves it.

  • "Did you have anything to do with... that?" "Yes, I killed him". He said it like it was nothing while remaning totally cool. V is almost definitely an INTP.

  • @Zaphenath4 I definately agree that he is. I myself am an INFJ.

  • @vacuuss Great, I have a few INFJ friends :) I am an INTP. And Evey is probably an INF something.

  • my fat metal friend. lol

  • that movie gives me the chills .... and i adore it ... ^^

  • Even terrorists like to play pretend

  • 55, 930 Views, 206 likes, 0 dislikes... That' right.

  • I love V so much. He is so cute. And he is a gentleman! <3

  • Did you have anything to do with that?

    Yes, I killed him.

Are you going to kill more people?

    Yes.

    LOLOLOLOL

  • "Violence CAN be used for good". Pure poetry! LOL

  • at 0:56 she sounds like in leon-the professional

  • "Are you going to kill more people?"

    "Yes."

    I lol'd

  • I saw this once when it was roughly new and I didnt finish it untill resently,

but, for as long as it took for me to remember this movie, this one scene stuck with me through the years.

thank you for up louding this, I've always loved it! <3

  • V is so cute!

  • He reminds me of a little kid when he's fighting with the sword, V is AWESOME!

  • 0:47 - 0:51

mmmm...am I the only one who has replayed this line over and over? XP

  • alright my fat, mettal, friend.lol

  • I have a question was there any reference to the Count of Monte Cristo in the Graphic Novel? I am curious and also I am doing a project on V for Vendetta.

  • @PhantomsRose maybe it's too late to react to your post regarding the reference of the Count of Monte Cristo the the graphic novel of V for Vendetta... There was none...

  • I will admit, I've done this... but with a lightsaber and I'm fighting against Yoda.... samet thing. :P

  • An inanimate object managed to choke him.

However; his sword fighting was more similar to Kung fu than actual fencing.. Probably cause the wachowskis love kung fu and go ta kung fu choreographer.

  • Hands down my favorite part of the movie. :) he is so cute. actually it's between this or the kitchen scene. I love him in the pink apron. hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

  • One of the best scenes from the movie. And I agree his a brillant actor.

  • Swashbuckling V strikes again!!!

  • Evey: And are you going to kill more people?

    V: Yes.

There are so few honest men in the world today......*sigh* the first one I come across and think is super sexy, just happens to be a character in a movie. Double *sigh*. I still love V though and always will.

  • "Put the sword away". Such dirty thoughts

  • What's swashbuckling V up to?

  • I loved the comic. Now I have to watch the movie, it seems.

  • I feel him. I feel him. It's not easy trying to make the world right without killing people. Very similar to what's on Batman's plate.

"Don't kill" is for boyscouts and Superman.

  • @Cleric775 But with Batman's example, it's his choice NOT to kill that puts him above the Joker, above Zsasz, above his enemies, because the moment he breaks his Sacred Rule, he will have become one of THEM, and all credibility he has as a hero is lost.

That's why V, unlike Batman, is NOT a hero; he is deliberately a morally ambiguous character.

  • @Sanguiluna But, he is, in a way, motivated by the same thing which motivates most of his villains(Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Doctor Freeze), vengance and rage. That's why he's so effective as a crimefighter, because part of him does identify with many of those he fights.

  • i enjoy the 1 and 2 they are developing

  • "Lewis, you were sorely missed"...she lied about that too!

  • Does anyone else just love the way mutters

"Oh.. eh oh-ohgod uh-eh..hope i didnt wake you..." *heavy breathing*

And "really would you like to?"

daw : P his voice goes high when he says "to"

    ^.^

he is just too cute at the start of this scene.

  • @gothicromance45 Oh God, YES! That is too sexy. I want him, apron and all!

  • is this even in the book?

  • @OKLangers

    No , he's exentric yes but he never does that ;

instead he preforms magic tricks for Evey and reads her childrens bedtime stories...

    (seriously)

  • Who is behind the mask of v D:

  • @xjelyxbearx

The Glourious smexyness of Hugo Weaving !

    ^.^

  • Evey: "She's lying"

    V: "How do you know?"

Evey: "She blinks a lot when she does a story she knows is false"

News woman: (While blinking) "Lewis, you will be sorely missed"

  • V's got the funniest little corksXD he's a masked vigilante killer who can shed a tear because of a movie, wears PINK aprons, and fights with a suit of armor as though it were fighting back!anyone notice when he held the suits arm up to his neck?XD

  • clue for today...I love swordfighting!

  • He's so adorable in this scene. When he's fighting. <3

  • V is also a good fighter

  • "The Count of Monte Cristo... gets me every time"

That part makes me crack up every time!!

  • well, give him points for honesty, i suppose

  • Okay.... put the sword away... LOL

  • "Oh, er, eh, I hope I didn't wake you..."

I can feel that way too when someone catches me doing something awkward. Like fighting a suit of armor.

  • :))) Do you have something to do with.....that ?

    Yes I killed him..

    Huh...oh god..

    Why you'r upset ?

    =)))

  • MWHAHAH YES!!! TAKE THAT MONDEGO!!!! Funny how his name has Dego in it LOL HUZAAA!

  • its nice how V's favorite movie is the count of monte cristo because that movie's main idea is about revenge(and its a great movie too) so i think its smart on the behalf of the writers to portray that v is so obssesed about revenge that all he watchs and enjoys is movies that contain what he wish's to be his own!

  • @TAZZ23SMITHY The book itself is wonderful too, it's not just about revenge but mostly about it.

    Anyway, it's understandable...

  • As only celluloid can do.

  • "Does it have a happy ending?"

    "As only celluloid can deliver."

  • "And are you going to kill more people?"

    "Yes."

  • this is EASILY one of my favorite films. Gotta love V.

  • love that hes so nervous about his cloths when she walks in

  • what does V say when at the end of the movie "you find your....?"

  • "You find your own tree."

  • @cersseilanner thank you so much that has bothered me since i first saw this movie back in 2006

  • No problem. Glad I could be of help.

  • @ShikaNinja its referring to the end of the count of monte cristo if you didn't already figure it out

  • "Yes. I killed him" Love the casualness of V

  • lol I love how he also says it so calmly, like he's telling her, "Yes, I went to the store"

  • i thought a monte cristo was a sandwich :/

  • lol it is! you're right about that too~

  • Cheers to the importance of justice!

  • Lol me too. When he sees her I love the way he says: "Oh... uh.. Oh God. I hope I didn't wake you." Hahaha ^_^

  • Anyone know where I can buy this version of The Count of Monte Cristo..

I briefly tried searching it but only found a 1998 version and 2002 version..

And I highly doubt that the film featured in this is wayyy before those dates xD

  • Know what's funny? I often find myself pretending in much the same way V does. I even have a similar reaction whenever someone hears or sees me. I could relate to him so much in this scene...

  • I love the way the last conversation plays out. He says he's going to kill more people with an attitude like he expects Evey to say something like "Okay, sweety. I'll have dinner ready when you get home." It's actually pretty hardcore. He talks of killing without a second thought.

  • I've seen this movie several times and I just noticed that he is wearing a period shirt when he 'fights' the suit of armor and when he watches the movie. That's so cute!! V plays dress-up!!!!! <3

  • @fallonhadley lol

  • He's just like "I just killed Prothero and I'm gonna kill more people" like it's completely normal.

  • because it is xD

  • I love this scene. Its so ironic how she talks about the count of monte christo!

  • I love how he tries to get into his serious character right when he realizes she was watching him be a total goofball.

  • that guy is hard core nuts

  • Oh he's so cute when he's flustered and then so manly when he talks about the vendetta.

  • V's voice is so sexy. Love Elrond's voice too. Hugo Weaving is such an excellent actor. I can listen to V's voice all day...

    ♥♥

  • @imsheryl2009 -same here.

  • @imsheryl2009 Me too! It's mesmerizing...

  • @imsheryl2009 I totally agree... I didn't know at first that it was Hugo Weaving who's playing the character when I watched the movie but it was just too perfect for the role... I could even imagine hearing his voice when I was reading the graphic novel... So glad the change in actor for the part of V happened LOL! :D

  • aww its so cute how V is so flustered by evey and its so obvious he likes her. I love this movie overrall and this is one of my favorite scenes.

  • It's so cute how V see's Evey and is all flussterd and silently he says oh god... lol!

  • these two are probably one of the BEST ON SCREEN souples eva...and it's mainly because of this scene right here!

  • imagine if other terrorists like Osama Bin Landen were like that lol. . .

  • The thing I love about V & Evey's relationship in the movie is basically this scene here. They looks so odd and cute sitting on the couch and talking about the movie like a they're on a date. I like how they don't always see eye to eye too. Differences in views help couples grow.

Charming or not, a man the swoops me up and is bent on killing off members of the government, I'd be wary of him too.

  • I am in the process of reading "The cound of Monte Cristo"...looking at the book i fount something really curious

The name of the fifth chapter (5 = V) in the "Part 3" of the book is called "The Vendetta.

    So..its V. "The vendetta"

its obvious how V's story is connected to the book...its awesome, i love both.

  • Did you also notice that Evey is a combination of E and V. E being the fifth letter of the alphabet, and V being the roman numeral for 5. There are many different things like this in the movie.

  • The pink apron and fighting with a piece of armor. All those years of living alone underground really got to V, eh?

  • @XxGlassxVioletxX I think the apron and the goofing off in the sword fighting here in these scenes makes him all the more adorable.

  • @mammamedea1

    I most totally agree!

  • Robert Donut?

  • I really like this scene...yet, i think it doesn't match a lot with V...im trying to think about him as a guy that plays with "fat metal friends" ^^...and i just can't!!!...else Edmund Dantes was way more unhappy, than him...but V was tortured...can't figure out a way HE could play like that. Yet...we don't need to see depressed angry people all the time right?

But, Im not trying to say i hate this either!!!...its really funny, and else...V is an amazing man, ¿whats wrong with a bit of humor?

  • So funny, i love this scene and how he says " my fat metal friend" and then he is embarrassed when Evey sees him lol. I love the way he talks and acts!! V is so awsome!
