He's Canadian - he deserves a trial to find out if he's guilty of the crimes he's alledged to have commited. If he is so guilty, why is he being held without charge? Exceeding that power by killing indiscriminately or shooting first, asking questions later is immoral. BTW, teaching our soldiers to kill on site is not good for our soldiers either. It's a traumatic experience--the principles of lawful combat and ethical behaviour are good for discipline and morale. That's why Peters isn't to be taken seriously.

Omar Khadr committed murder when he killed Sgt. Speer. Mr. Peters is absolutely right, Khadr should have been killed on the battlefield. Instead the American's are feeding Khadr and caring for Khadr at the expense of the U.S. taxpayers.
