How many of you guys watching this vid still have faith in Renault? I mean there was some kind of experiment to reduce production costs in French automobile industry from 2000 to 2007 and especially Lagunas and Meganes, they were just unbelievably breaking down every minute, those weren't even cars. They were like OH MY GOD. They only brought pain and sadness to their owners. Renault has lost lots of its customers.

Personally I will never Buy a Renault =) But we can't deny that their design are cool. But Renault is not the only one to fall down ...

I know some owners of Meganes and Lagunas whose wheels had incorrect possitions up to 5-6 milimiters. I mean how can this happen in today's age of computerized production?

But...things may be getting better for Renault. The new Clio is, according to ADAC, more reliable than VW Polo or Toyota Yaris, BUT let's wait few years and see. Peugeot also improved slightly on 207 and maybe 308 models. But Citroen? I want to buy Citroen C4 but I heard it has a lot of problems. What do you think of it?

And to answer youre question, I don't know if i'am well positionned =) Because I have work for 1 year for PSA (Peugeot & Citroën).

The C4 is my favorite french car with the new C5. And the Citroen are reliable ! Before the model is put on sale, they test it on very longue distance to find possible problems! PSA is inspired by the german model, and the C4 and others Psa's model are now reliable !

And the after sales service is improving too ! You'are followed by the sales service during at least 100.000 km depending on what contract you have.

The thing is that I'm probably going to buy C4 tomorrow and heard it had some problems. Not sure. As for Peugeot, I've read magazines where they tested 308 and 207 in a long run without single breakdown. But they're expensive too. Citroen C4 is based on Peugeot 307 which was just as bad as Megane. So I'm unsure.

Yes the long run tests are recent (308, C5) ! I don't know if the C4 was tested in this way... But for me (I have driven a C4 but not owned it), you will be satisfied ! And there is the restyled C4 !

I think the restyled one is a safe placement =) As it is a new version they must have considered all the previous problems of the old C4 !

I'm discussing this with my mother as we are going to buy it together. But she is afraid and therefore wants Clio instead.

On the other hand, if we order C4 now, we can have it in 2-3 weeks whereas if we order Clio, it will arrive in January. That's quite long period of time. But it could also mean that it's well built.

The building time and the quality are not directly linked ! It depends of the capacity of the factory, of the available parts ...

I would choose the C4 for its design and its attractive technology / I like the clio's design too but the C4 is more attracting .. more dynamic .. more sportive !

Renaults are much more reliable since 2004 (Megane and Laguna), whereas Clio III and Modus are reliable since the beginning (except a few glitches on the back axle assembly for the earlier versions of the Modus).

le concept car Ondelios me fait osciller entre fascination et degoût (l'arrière de babouin n'est pas agréable)

concernant la F1, la nvelle et révolutionnaire soufflerie numérique devrait la replacer parmi les top teams 2009 !

Quand j'ai vu ondelios j'ai hésité entre fusion d'un requin et d'un aspirateur ... Ca force le respect pour le travail mais ca en choquera plus d'un !

ça reste subjectif je sais, mais la Laguna Coupé me plait bcp, la Megane 3 Trophy aussi (quelle gueule !), la Megane telle qu'on la verra dans qq semaines me plait mais avec un peu de circonspection, le coupé quant à lui me déçoit (peut-être est-ce l'angle de vue ?)

Je suis d'accord avec la laguna coupé ^^ très belle, La trophy est magnifique ... aggressive à souhait ! Parcontre je prefére la mégane coupé à la berline ... Le coupé à plus de caractére
