@solidroque you gotta get a new turntable!!! we could not live without ours. they do still make them. apparently vinyl is trendy again! thanks for dropping by. :-)))
@lillith886 I bought a Stanton professional and cannot recommend it too highly. Nice to know other Maddy Prior devotees. I accidentally heard "Woman in the Wings" on the ABC in 1977 and have bought every album since. Appreciate this upload.

Hi Lillith More magic from Maddy. I know I have commented before on this great song & singer but failed to mention your lovely video. Good colours & ideas. Thanks.
rite of spring is always a contemporary ballet for me!! such a beautiful song and maddy's voice is wonderful. thanks for dropping by and taking time to leave me a few kind words. :-)
thank you for your comment. i'm with you all the way!! :-) love fairport and maddy of course. as the earth's resources grow ever more scarce i do wonder if we'll have to abandon ship and find another eden. hopefully we wont destroy the next one. one thing's for sure, the planet will live on regardless of the clever monkeys, thanks for dropping by. blessings.
wow cant belive you did a video with deep space as i collected pictures ages ago to make a video with such a theme, same as the fairys, great minds think alike. this is very beautifull music and very relaxing to, i love looking up into the sky when its dark it is very amazing the whole universe out there and we are but a tiny speck in it all.. beautifully done, i like the tune never heard of it before. :)
Such a beautiful song!. Long ago, I made a Maddy Prior tape for a friend, and this was his favorite song of all. Beautiful video, too! I love those star nursery photos: seeing them fills me with an enormous sense of awe -- talk about making someone feel very small. Then again, all of us (or many of us) harbor massive reservoirs of love, hope & vast possibilities. Hopefully those in touch with that within themselves will ultimately win out over the soulless earth & inhabitants abusing monsters.
i'm often in awe at the sheer vastness of it all. it blows me away. i was talking with a friend today about rainy days and how beautiful they are. people these days just seem to hate getting wet. thanks for droppin in. it's good to know we're not alone. i think this is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. :)
Another favourite is "Somewhere Along the Road".

A more refined version than the one with Rick, the short part in French, for me, adds another piece of magic to a lovely song.

I can never hear Stravinsky's Rite of Spring without seeing the dinosaurs fighting to that music in Disney's Fantasia.
I'll probably never look at another Hubble photo without thinking of this song.
Great song, great video! Thanks for posting this!

Lovely pictures, wonderful song, beautiful singer.
In a Universe so vast,
We all breathe the same air,
All see the same sun, moon and stars,
Such a pity that we can't all get along in peace and harmony on this little lifeboat we know as Earth.
Love
