Well like I said, netbooks don't have cd drives, and I don't have a usb cd drive readily available, so I just downloaded it. and it works great I might add. I do own a physical copy of it, I just couldn't use the cd on my netbook. Also what's FFS mean?

and btw...if your computer doesnt have a cd drive you can just as an example, buy the game through steam, in that way you can download the game and you wont need a cd room, and I also think that majesty is quite cheap on steam...like 18-20 euros

It would be kind of stupid to buy another copy of the game regardless of how cheap it is, if I already own it. If I had lost my cd maybe I would purchase it again through steam, but I still have my cd, and I certainly wouldn't pay for a game that I still own.

isohunt should have it, I just recently downloaded it for my netbook (no cd drive) just type in Majesty gold edition, and it should come up, I downloaded it in like 30 minutes and it installed and runs fine.

This is one of my favorite fantasy themes. guildwars is another, and slections from the Lord of the Rings are also in such company.

I love this game, the first of it's kind, and it has a great retro gaming feel to it, but not too retro that it's boring.

I can't wait for #2, but part of me says it's not going to fully replace the first.

The original seems to have better graphics. Many games lose graphic quality when they switch to 2D isometric view to fully 3D view. That is why I will not try Blitzkrieg 2.
