  • Amei...

  • I am french and I certainly appreciate the effort of someone who tries to sing in my language...

  • Nice :-)

  • Salam beautiful, how are you Nadira? it was a nice surprise to hear from you and I was also surprised to listen to your lovely video!!! you sound like an angel and it was a privilege listening to you! say, are you still on msn? because I have recently installed messenger and would be cool to catch you on there sometime ...

a million hugs to you and yours

  • oh wow i didn't know it was you singing it until i read the box. you have a great voice, you sound like an actual recording artist! no, your french isn't very good, but considering you don't speak french it's not bad at all.

  • you have a beautiful voice, but the french accent is very strong, sry... overall, its good

  • no, your french is not good, but you have a beautiful voice

  • There is a humming in the background that makes this sound delightfully eerie!

Besides that, this is very beautiful. The only version I've heard is sung at a faster tempo, and hearing it so soft and slow gives it a warm, bittersweet sadness, epitomizing the sadness of loss, or perhaps heartbreak. Perfect. :)

  • nice!

  • wow.. it was really well done for someone that does not speak french.. there are some places where is was so so.. but it's normal.. but in general it was excelenent ! :) i think you should learn french you would not have to much of a hard time.. (and by the way your voice is really good! ) (i'm french and have bin singing for a long time and have a really good ear so it was good)

  • hi im in 8 grade and i am in level 2 french and that is pretty good

  • " A la claire fontaine " is a French nursery rhyme ... you can also hear ... sung at the piano ... in the poignant and moving French film : " Il y a longtemps que je t'aime " by Philippe Claudel ... a film I highly recommend ... two sisters meeting again ... after a long separation, one of them just released from prison ... and singing this song ... meaningfully !

    You sing it ... beautifully ... here ... a cappella !

Bravo ... I'm pleased to hear it with a lovely foreign accent !

  • The way you sing it makes me imagine like if it was an epic story of an British Woman who loved a French Colonist. The British thought of it as treason and they decided to assasinate him. The couple ran of and ran but the British shot the man. Then the woman sings this song.

  • I do not know if you are pronouncing the words correct or not, but your voice is beautiful.

  • I think you did very well, your voice sounds great and your french sounds good, especially considering you don't speak french. (this is coming from a trained vocalist, proficient in french. :) good work!

  • quem ta cantando essa musica?

  • sorry, I can't understand. :(

  • She/He is asking who is singing this song. :)

  • @mshana36 she is say "Who sing that song?"

  • @mshana36 She/He is asking what the singer's name :)!

  • l'accent casse un peu

  • Sorry about the translation..like I said I am not a French speaker and I was trying to give a lovely english subtitle so other non French speaking individuals like me could also enjoy. I'm sorry for the mistakes! :)Thanks for all the comments.

  • The traslation isn't very good...... It's terrible indeed, but the song is beautiful!
