The reason Burger King is able to afford putting egg in their $1 muffin sandwich is because the egg itself is thin as all hell, and doesn't even taste like egg. I'm willing to bet that it's a substitute. At least McDonald's uses actual eggs.

Me, I try to make my own muffin sandwiches at home when I can. English muffins, ground sausage formed into a patty, sliced cheese and an egg cooked in an egg ring. Better than McD's or BK.

I bought one of these the other day and with enough ketchup it tasted great. Heck I loved the anoint of ketchup covering they told me to stop using so much ketchup as it would cover the taste.
