  • i hate the northern sudanese u wanna be Arab...a bunch of African Arab waan be niggers

  • @mofire9999 Nubians are NOT Arabs. They never were.

  • @mofire9999 You speak bad about those Africans, but call them Niggers. You are better than them don't stoop to their level.

  • yes the curse of the a-rab and white devil.....destruction of nature is the order of the day.

  • That's pretty jacked up.

  • I still believe in the "Green" Sahara theory since settles had springed across the world of the Middle East predated all Nubian-Egyptians artifacts. Before the period of Nubian civilization stated, farms, towns and villages already existed across Sahara, Mesopotamia, Southern Turkery, Lower & Upper Nile.

The Nile valley served as a perfect refuge and catalysis to accelerate the Egyptian world. But to say the entire population and civilization came from Nubia? I cannot agree on that.

  • Japanese, Chinese, and Korean cultures had their own unique features and continue to do so even under heavy Chinese influences. The aboriginals of Japan had their unique culture and then replaced by the people of Yamato; and then the Yamato people acquire their writing and varieties of other technologies from the Chinese to develop their own culture.

I think you are mixing early pioneers (60,000 years ago) who explored the world and civilized people who migrated to their final destintions.

  • thank you people of sudan for supporting us the algerians and welcoming us on your land. May allah bless you all.

  • Nubia, the oldest African civilization and one of the oldest civilizations in mankind history is about to vanish and disappear forever under the waters of dams in Merowe, Kajbar and Dal while the world is watching passively. Nubians have suffered much from relocations, marginalization, isolation and their ancestral lands have been ravaged by the successive governments in Sudan.

  • Since intermarriage or migration happens all the time, I am not surprise that one particular gene is spreading Northward, especially the lower Nile is a much more furtile and hospitable place to live. It is perfectly logical that the closer of the origin of that gene, the more ancient the ancestery is, appearing as Nubian speading northward. This can just prove a influx of Nubian or Ethiopian genes, indicating intermarriage, contributing to the AE culture, but not proving Nubian=AEgyptian

  • this is a good video, i'm glad that the issue is still making it onto the media and hasn't just died away.

in response to the comments so far - i suggest if you want to know about the history of nubia to actually read a book about it rather than reading the comments here - most of them are wrong. generally, youtube comments are the worst on the internet!

  • Nasa geophysicist Dr. Benjamin Fong Chao found evidence that large dams cause changes to the earth's rotation, because of the shift of water weight from oceans to reservoirs. Because of the number of dams which have been built, the Earth's daily rotation has apparently sped up by eight-millionths of a second since the 1950s

  • There is no evidence to suggest the Ancient Egyptians, or their culture, were originated from Nubrian regions. In fact, most evidences were pointing to a collection of "Green" Sahara cultures, taking refuge along the shores of Niles due to climate change, turning into the corner stones of the ancient Egyptian cultures.

The earliest image found of "White crown "is in Northern Nubia, but it doesn't mean conclusively that the idea of WC originated from Nubrians, or early Egyptians are Nubrians.

  • Cosign the socalled Ancient Egyptians and Nubians were one in the same people..It's no coincidence that Modern Nubians look alot more like the way socalled Ancient Egyptians portrayed themselves in thier art(herogylphics, sculptors, etc) and that Nubia has the oldest and most pyramids.

  • edit...Nubians look much more like the way Ancient Egyptians portrayed themselves than most Modern Egyptians.

  • Japanese and Chinese culture interwinded and learned from each other for over 1600 years, having a lot of similar archectures and scriptures. Is that mean Chinese = Japanese culture? or Chinese migrated to the Japan proper and created the Japanese culture?

As I said, I DO believe Nubians had played a significant roles in the creation of Ancient Egyptian culture. But there are variety of different cultures also co-existed along the Nile in the predynasty period.

    Learning =/= transplant.

  • @90sraisedme thats because they are their decendents not arabs and whites

  • @mercedescl Nubia is older than egypt. Egypt derived from Nubia.

  • @90rashad we should use proper terms brother. Nubian was a fake term imposed on these people by Romans. The kingdom you are talking about was called Ta-seti or Qustul and yes it was older than egypt and yes the egyptians came from them

  • @BigPreme I just can't believe white people think they was the Egyptians.

  • @90rashad think of it this way. Egypt gave civilization to the world and it wasnt even the oldest kingdom in Africa. It also wasnt the most advanced. So waht does that say for the rest of the world? They truly did NOTHING. if it wasnt for africans they would still be running around in animal furs in europe and eating each other.

  • @BigPreme Learn something everyday

  • I agree with you elgringorumbero

the south is the origin point. Calling him an Arab was also a bit unfair he is a fool African and Africans made that civilization what it was. Invading Hanebu from the North and Semetic speakers have been the problem for the last 2000 seasons.

    Hotep

  • There are sufficent evidences to suggest that both Upper Egypt, lower Egypt, and multiple city states had their own unique cultures in the predynastic period. You have to be cautious about using Nubians or Egyptians to label the predynastic cultures in relation to the modern distribution of races and culture. Above all, ethnic lines, especially on a local scale, were/ still are superficial. Modern borders/racial barriers meant nothing to the ancient world of the Nile.

  • Nubians had the main source of mercenaries and military adminstrators for over 800 years of Ancient Egyptian history. Eventually, the Nubians had established themselves as the ruling class in 8th century BC, the 25th dynasty of Egypt. Under a narrow definition, Nubians ain't Egyptians, but Nubians had been an essential part of ancient Egyptian culture before the New Kingdom.
