Seemed this game had about 12 turnovers or something crazy like that by the time it was over. I anticipated OK State to be a huge challenge, but after so many turnovers it didn't feel like Ole Miss beat anyone. OK just lost the game.
That was an ugly win. I watched the whole pathetic mess from the second row on the 40 yard line. It was a contest to see who sucked less...in the end luck came our way. It sucks to sit in the stands and watch your team try to GIVE the game away, interceptions, fumbles, missed field goals.
I was there the next night for a beautiful game...Dallas winning 24 to nothing over the Eagles, at home, in a new stadium...that was beautiful.
If awful means 2 touchdown win against the Big 12 team who was one win away from a berth in a BCS Championship Series game then, yes, you would be correct. Ugly win is one of the most ridiculously overused terms in all of sports. How come nobody every says "boy, that sure was a beautiful loss?" At the end of the day, there's only one thing that matters. You are right, but OSU had a whole sector of their offense they didn't even use... Can you guess? The option. Every time they used it they gained good yardage, but only used it a few times. The egg bowl should have at least taught them to use it.
ole miss looked awful, i have to say that is the ugliest bowl win i've ever seen ole miss in. but that sec defense kept the game in check. hotty toddy. 21-7

yay for a blown offsides call... and a few others that led to the utter destruction of spirit for OSU. the score doesn't say all that went on in this game...
