The spirit causing mayhem was probably not Condie. It's probably a demonic spirit taking the form of Condie when manifesting in this physical plane. Someone probably was dabbling into the occult & opened a Pandoran spirit-physical pathway, bringing this tormenting spirit which may or may not be linked to her infernal death/doom. (I presume this story to being true).
