Before you jump on the guy about "true", effective Ninpo. I got sucked into the whole Ninja thing in the 80's and knew most of the top ranked instructors of the day. Both Hatsumi and most of the instructors of the time knew Bussey would've kicked their collective arses. Only guys like Nagato, who had extensive background in Judo and other arts , could hang with Bussey. I saw Nagato kick guys butts just using his Judo alone. Bussey couldnt stand it when his guys wanted to learn BJJ and boxing

If ya want authentic stuff, at least research a bit about it first and find out who the masters are, ooooh by the way the closest link there is is Masaaki Hatsumi. Try Bujinkan Taijutsu, it still covers most of the practical aspects of Ninja combat but it kinda skips espionage, explosives, 'invisibility' and all that jazz that comes with the hype.

I don't know much about this guy, but it would seem to me that he's specializing in movie fighting and acrobatics. There are people who specialize in that sort of thing. It's combined with gymnastics and flashy moves. The first instinct is to say he sucks or this is not for real fighting, but maybe he's not trying to. On the other hand, if he is teaching this as legitimate martial arts training, then he is indeed a bullshitter. This is for show and for agility / fitness. Not real fighting.

Actually, it is Ninjutsu, which is a mix between martial arts and gymnastics. I trained with this guy and they are pretty damn good. This guy was trained by Frank Dux and if you don't know who Frank is then you obviously know nothing of martial arts, don't discredit that which you do not know about. (We trained with him in Awahnee, CA) (near Fresno)

Sure the majority are extremely skilled but martial arts is a physical, mental, and spiritual journey and you need ALL three - if the physical body is not honed to as close as perfection as possible, the other two suffer too.
