by looking at the controls i can clearly see the pilots has done everything he can to trim fly the airplane in slow fly configuration,its just one of those days that no matter where or how you put the plane there is turbulent air everywhere

we were flying in an american express turboprop when I was a young kid (not sure what make/model) and hit a little turbulence...she didn't crack a smile the whole time...she closed her eyes, leaned her head back and almost made my arm black and blue from squeezing

and one of those planes is huge by my current standards! she would croak if she experienced some of the bumps I've seen in a little piper

not true either, those were plane crashes caused by microburst and it isnt the same as turbulence.

Microburst can me explained in a simple way as air blowing downwards towards an airplane making it pick erratic signals like airspeed causing or leading to a crash.

although there has been some crashes due to turbulence like the most recent one, the AF 447(dont really remember the number) or the american airlines that encountered turbulence after taking off behind a b747, making it crash.
