its not just african americans. basically almost everywhere other than north america, children are disciplined differentally. In russia, it is acceptable to give a kid an ass whipping for discipline. I think that's also one of the reasons why america is so out of sync with the rest of the world.

The worse part, is if you say no candy, you'll have a grandparent stuffing them with sugar in your back. rylaraven13: I don't think she was making the face at the fact that the mother worked, rather the fact that since she id work full-time and the father was never home, it may be a bit more difficult to manage the issues. There are other shows where both parents work, heck even though Jo isn't a mother-to my knowledge-she works!

If anything she is probably worried for the kids getting enough of the right attention and the mother being able to get her work done is all. :)

Two are easy but three is a nightmare unless they are stretched out age wise. If you think having two is easy and want to go for a third then ask yourself if you'd want to parent a third child who is also disAbled then you might be more concerned with birth control where you might otherwise not.

I'm not raciest either and I too was surprised to see a black family. I don't get to watch this show every time it comes on, but the Web family is the first black family I've seen on here. The mother seems like she's doing the best she can and I agree the dad should try to look for a job that will let him stay home more and be gone less.  The son needs his dad to show him how to act right and Mrs. Web needs her husband's support. I hope it works out well for them. love the car too LOL
