yeah, do you like dario argento stuff, i think they knew that that blood looked fake, but maybe they made it seem like paint as an art form, a piece of something is still there. Horror movies now arent as scary cus they're only relying on gore and graphic deaths. Horror movies are supposed to have twists and turns, a wow factor, it can go over the top. But yeah they are using the same cliches, to try to scare people.
