I have 6 chickens one had a baby he was so cute all black and everything he had a sis but she died and we had to give the boy chick away cause his momma kept poking him.:( And now two of my chickens are having chicks not the one who already had one but two other girls, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice. Please cross your fingers and like so this gets seen cause I dont want another chick dying or getting treated bad.
AAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW*deep breath*WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW(you get the idea)
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww thier soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute they remind me of my chickens were young, but now they are bigger and gonna start to lay eggs next mont for the first time! in their whole lives since i bought them in April! I bought four, but three were roosters so we gave them to my mom and we gave the hen to her too because they can't be apart those four now they live with other chickens so there are 17 all together! my mom owns alot of chickens!
That takes alot of patience to hold the camera still for that long waiting for the baby to come out of the shell. Thanks so much for sharing. I always miss mine hatching out! This is a great video to share with the kids!
@PokemonBakuganRule Chickens lay eggs constantly all year long. but they arent fertile (they dont have a baby inside/they never will hatch) since the hen didn't mate. she needs to mate to lay fertile eggs. and eggs at the grocery store aren't fertile at all. Very educated chicken raisers/breeders buy fertile eggs at special places and put them in an incubator. Incubators are special egg hatching contraptions set at a particular temperature, humidity, and air flow to hatch the eggs right.

@SpooksHill They are excellent layers but as soon as they lay 6-7 eggs, they go broody and stop. Sometimes you can get them to keep laying if you remove the eggs right away but no guarantees.
