I like the old droid look,i wish they could keep the same look but slimmer with the same hardware as the droid 2.I was looking at some new prototypes on what motorola is working on and from what i see its worth the wait.I am a droid owner myself and was wondering if i should buy the new one,but untill they change the look ill just keep on waiting.
Droid 2 was a joke, I would keep my original Droid over it any day of the week. Say I didn't have my original Droid, I would still pick it over the Droid 2. I would rather have smaller, better feeling keys with a D Pad than a odd feel and arrows. Well I've gotta admit that the Android OS actually sucks compared to the older Iphone OS that's on the 3GS. The reason most people do prefer android over iphone is that Android is actually smart enough to have the operating system in phones of different shapes and sizes unlike apple. Androids phones are usually cheaper and most of all IT'S ON VERIZON! Apple and android should join forces though. (I do prefer android right now though haha)

I am Verizon employee and I think the Droid 2 is a pretty good phone but Im gonna keep my droid I like it all thats changed is an 8 GB hard drive on the phone a 1 ghz processor and 8 GB card expandable upto 32 GB card making overall storage 40 GB. I like the design of the droid 2 but I really love my droid besides that my droid is root to the droid 2 software and speed so in all reality if you have a droid you can turn it into the 2 without having to pay the cost.

@ShiroKado Actually I am a Verizon employee and if you did your research you would know that the 8 gb built in hard drive does not count as the 8 gb card and if you take the 8gb "pre installed" card and replaced it with the 32 gb card you would get 40 gb of memory space including the built in 8gb hard drive. Trust me I know what the fuck im talking about. If you would like to visit me at my store location come to Riverton, Wy we are located in the walmart parking lot or look us up and call.

You are all misinformed / uneducated on camera technology. The amount of Megapixels is only relevant to a point. What makes the difference is the size of the immage sensors. The iPhone 4 is said to have superior picture quality over the Droid X depsite having less MP's. This is due to its better immage sensor.

first off roc8278 iphone didnt make apps store. it was made sidekick if u forget they was first one to make this possible. did u forget sidekick 1 (2002) and sidekick 2(2004) app catalog? ps3(2006) playstation store and psp in 2005 being first handled with 4.3 inches we could say iPhone copy the idea from sony and danger for apps store and screen size. apple didnt do any revolution they just promoted better with no compation.

It doesn't take more speed or more gbs to sell more phones or to be better. It's just takes quality which apple has over all. Apple products just feel good and is good end of story. Take the hd2 had a 1ghz 5 mega pixel cam and biggest screen ever n it failed miserably because specs doesn't mean crap my 3GS runs just as fast as phones with faster processors.

@ROC8278 As I stated, sales numbers have nothing to do with functionality. Apple has been around a very long time and has a way bigger fan base. Android phones have only been around for the quantity of a few years, so you really can't compare the two on sales just because one device sells less than the other.
You can't deny that the Android fan base is growing larger every day.

@makistansonsonson It's not exactly a hotspot solution, but look at the PdaNet app (on Droid 1). It's free and connects through bluetooth or USB and provides a single computer with 3G. Best of all, don't use it excessively and Verizon won't charge you for it.

Well I've gotta admit that the Android OS actually sucks compared to the older Iphone OS that's on the 3GS. The reason most people do prefer android over iphone is that Android is actually smart enough to have the operating system in phones of different shapes and sizes unlike apple. Androids phones are usually cheaper and most of all IT'S ON VERIZON! Apple and android should join forces though. (I do prefer android right now though haha)

I am Verizon employee and I think the Droid 2 is a pretty good phone but Im gonna keep my droid I like it all thats changed is an 8 GB hard drive on the phone a 1 ghz processor and 8 GB card expandable upto 32 GB card making overall storage 40 GB. I like the design of the droid 2 but I really love my droid besides that my droid is root to the droid 2 software and speed so in all reality if you have a droid you can turn it into the 2 without having to pay the cost.

@ShiroKado Actually I am a Verizon employee and if you did your research you would know that the 8 gb built in hard drive does not count as the 8 gb card and if you take the 8gb "pre installed" card and replaced it with the 32 gb card you would get 40 gb of memory space including the built in 8gb hard drive. Trust me I know what the fuck im talking about. If you would like to visit me at my store location come to Riverton, Wy we are located in the walmart parking lot or look us up and call.

@ShiroKado oh yeah and if you also read the articles all over the web they explain very well that there is 16gb of memory that comes with the phone 8 GB of on board hard drive memory and the 8 GB memory card that is preinstalled which oh my god look at that it equals back to 16 GB WOW! Also it says in the info bar of this video that it has 8 GB of hard drive memory and the 8 GB Card. SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH.

You are all misinformed / uneducated on camera technology. The amount of Megapixels is only relevant to a point. What makes the difference is the size of the immage sensors. The iPhone 4 is said to have superior picture quality over the Droid X depsite having less MP's. This is due to its better immage sensor.
