  • You sir, are awesome.

  • Lol . . . how much did you speed the vid up? I'd believe it if you had an analog clock in the background . . . ticking away at 1 bpm. At any rate, nice intonation and fun. I had my electric fiddle stolen out of my car years ago and miss it . . .

  • @Deanomag - You are joking right?

  • @1stfiddlerman I initially thought it was sped up because the video was glitchy. Not as high a quality as the piazzolla so I thought it was altered. Then I thought back to my electric fiddle and remembered how quick the response can be. Nicely done . . . I'm pulling out my fiddle tonight to play it and see if I can keep up :) I used that piece to audition for university back in the day.

  • @Deanomag - I wouldn't dream of it. The sound quality is not that good because of the effects and probably because of my cheap camcorder that I had at that time.

  • Do you play professionally, for fun, or for both? Looks like fun at least.

  • @Deanomag - I'm a professional classical violinist. Since moving back to Florida three years ago, I have been freelancing in the local professional orchestras, which do not have many concerts per year (Florida is culturally deprived). I've been traveling to play abroad as well off season. I also play weddings in various chamber ensembles almost every weekend. And I am happy to say that I still play for fun, and get paid for it too :-)

  • My heart stopped from listening to this. So epic, so so epic.

  • amazing bow work !!! .....................I just bought a Cecilio CEVN based on your review.......looks like a very good instrument for the money, also I am a luthier and feel confident I can tweek it to my own likes...................again great work !!!

  • Very nice, Bach Rocks!!!! Whisch effects did you use? I guess some distortion + reverb, something more? what about equalization? thanks. Great work, this video rocks!!

  • Nice! I am Amir's Gladstone's friend Pauly, you rock!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dabarefootchef - Thanks Pauly

  • This is amazing. That I have to say, you're a great violinest. What kind of distortion pedal do you use?

  • @ThreeDaysGraceFan09 - A very inexpensive pedal, Zoom G2

  • You're really, really good! You were especially good in the Histoire du Tango by Piazzolla!

  • @preposterous3637 - I appreciate that. Thank you

  • Pierre, you are exceptionally talented and your technical skill is truly amazing... Never actually thought how wonderful Bach could sound on an electric violin. No words to describe it - pure XTC...out of this world...After hearing u play this I took up the piece myself today, you have to play it to know how good it feels...You are truly wondeful and you inspire me. Thank you.

  • With classical music shredding sounds good.

    Great work.

  • awesome, great sound and playing!

  • Bad-ass! You should have played for king crimson or curved air but you weren't born yet? Damn you're good!

  • what r you using?

  • Zeta jazz fusion fiddle and a guitar distortion pedal.

  • Tur jag inte spelar violin, annars hade jag slutat nu!

  • Rock the ßach ! i£u>it !

  • "ß" is a German character meaning "ss".

  • This is mad. It's differaat even from rock versions of classical pieces, because it's still the original piece, but it so isn't! My brain is confused!

  • HAHAHA I don't know how to take that.

  • Take as a compliment. This is amazing!

  • Thanks

  • 5/5. Electric violins kick ass!
