We got to summit middle of Jan 2010. We were lucky with the weather and made summit push in between storms.

Hello there!

I wonder if you got to the summit early january cos I was there around the 27th and there was so much snow. Unfortunately we did not summit as the temperature was around -35 C on Piedras Blancas (6200 / 6400 msnm).

Amazing pictures and Amazing setup....my dad just recently got to camp 3 on aconcagua, but unfortunately mayo du blanco (white wind) hit, carrying winds of about 100 mp/h killing 3 people..fortunately his guide brought him down to camp 2. The wind shredded the camps to pieces.

@darkr3c0n7 Thanks. Yes, it was an amazing experience... we were lucky with the weather and had the fortune of good guides to pick the best window to summit. Thanks for the props on the pics and vid - my first 'movie' - spent way too long on it though.

Nice job Fred! I got winded just sitting in my office. So how cold was that stream? Helicopter and pack mules, getting old. Brings back memories of Vail and carrying you ass around the hills - HA! Well at least someone is still doing it - stay safe, I miss ya Bro!
