This drumset is PINTECH this was recorded in 2000 when youtube only allowed 100 mb clips DOH........I did this test about 40 times trying to get a short clip thats why I said I'm getting tired LOL
i know his secret, this is not hard and u dont get tired,im not trying to say im better than him and i dont want to start a youtube agrument or anything im just saying, this is not hard to do,just gotta have the passion to learn it for yourself.
See, the reason why is because you're enormously sloppy and you think its cool to play on electric drums. You play with no power or passion. There is never any groove in what you play. Whats music if you dont feel it? Nothing, so fuck off asshole.
You're a fucking dumbass. "You think its cool to play on electric drums", what the hell does that have to do with anything? You sound like a jealous, ignorant tool. He's not playing to any music, he's showing us his techniques. Also, don't talk shit about a guy who holds a world record until you got something of equal or greater prowess, which I doubt you'll have.
@DrumsAndMilk By the way, you're not going to get much power at all from the speed he's going at (as with any drummer), so you can shove that power comment up your ass.
@solz101 you just answered your own question i think. everyone would do anything to do that but cant. i think they are jealous, plus most of them are just punk kids anyway id be surprised if he lost any sleep over it
Yeah I know its funny back when I loaded this clip i had to keep trying to get a clip under 100mb so i did this about 20 -30 times trying to get a clip under 100mb now youtube is over 2 gb check out the new speed clip in HD in my video response
@Metal66671 George Kollias is faster than this guy. Have you heard the drumming on Annihilation of the Wicked? Way faster. Same with Flo Mounier from Cryptopsy. They're both faster than this guy.
@TimWaterson I see. There's a lot of the competition out there, honestly. Understand that I wasn't trying to label you as insignificant compared to George and Flo, because you have just as much talent as them, if not more. But do you know who Prosciptor McGovern is? THAT is most likely the fastest double bass that I've heard in a while. You should look up Absu - She Cries the Quiet Lake.
@JuiceofVM Well talking fast doesn't entertain people or heighten the skill of your vocal abilities. However, listening to someone crush on double bass is impressive. The faster they go, the more brutal the tempo becomes, creating an awesome riff. Vocal talent comes from people like Rob Halford, Jeff Tate and Bruce Dickinson. They don't sing fast at all. They are melodic and beautiful. But how is a Death Metal drummer defined by his talent? Speed and stamina, of course. It does matter.
@DreamyGhost1492 If only speed and stamina mattered in metal, I wouldnt be a fan of it. You dont have to be the fastest to create a complex mind blowing piece of music. I think creativity takes more talent than speed or stamina alone.
@JuiceofVM Well I'm not just talking about Metal in general. I'm talking specifically about Thrash/Death Metal. Speed and Stamina do matter heavily on drumming. Take some time to listen to style of bands like Slayer, Skeletonwitch, Absu, Obituary, Vital Remains or, above all, Nile and Cryptopsy. Snare Blasts, Blast Beats, Double Bass and Drum Roles that go barreling like thunder all across the kit. Sounds like Thrash/Death Metal to me. Those bands wouldn't be themselves without those techniques.
@DreamyGhost1492 I know dude...trust me, i love blast beats and fast kicks, but it gets repetitive when that is all that happens. GK's Aeons of Burning Galaxies is an excellent example of variation between speed and creativity.
i dont understand why people think that triggers make you faster they dont and if you dont have good foot technique and control you just gonna sound even shittier
If I recall, Tim's world record 1407bpm run was on an acoustic bass drum with axis pedals at a WFD in 2004. Electronic or no, Tim is an amazing player and has really set the bar for what is humanly possible for us all. Keep it up man.
First of all id like to point out that hes using an electric drumset so basically hes using triggers. Id bet a million dollars he couldnt get that fast with an acoustic set. Also im doubting thats faster than 250 bpm, probly not even that fast probly around 200 210. iv herd faster on Nile and Origin songs. my point being that he DOES NOT in fact have the fastest feet. Not even close
Dude, I'm a drummer and I was just playing doubles on a practice pad at 100bpm - there's no WAY Tim is lying about the speed - get a metronome and see it for yourself. Match the tempo - also both Goerge and Derek have used triggers on Nile records - even if Goerge has used his actual bass drums recently - he still triggers - which means that Tim, if he uses triggers can play way faster than both of them. NOBODY gets their bass drum heard live over 220ish...
@CombustiblPlantMater Both Nile and Origin use drum triggers as does any band I have ever heard where the drummer gets in the mid or upper 200s. No acoustic drum in the world will sound good at over 200BPM period
I dare all u retards that go againts this to produce enough power to even move your eylid ever fuckin 14th of a second or whatever the fuck it is!!! nearly every fuck that records these days uses triggers and you silly buggers what do you think a electronic kit is!!! a bunch a fucking triggers!!! duh
First off, there is no way to trigger an electric set, fucktard. All a trigger is is pretty much what is on the inside of an electric drum. So triggering an electric drumset with another electric module is fucking retarded. You are fucking retarded.
Plus, he is human, and he is playing that fast. Using heel toe technique. LLRRLLRRLLRRLLRRLLRRLLRR etc.
really.. you called him "fucking retarded" now thats wrong in 2 ways, you dont know if he's mentally challenged and i dont think he'd fuck a minger... so yes your statement can be wrong and once again.. your being an ignorant batsard.... TROLL TROLL TROLL :D
dude. HEEL TOE TECHNIQUE!! For the 1000000000000th time. Triggers does not make it sound faster, but it can make it sound louder. When will people get it
well at least you have sense to agree thank you my friend im a drummer and like to jam to songs and practice different styles of musc and jam out a solo not sit in my bedroom with a double pedal and practice pad and tap all day i like to get out and play
I love metal & respect speed but I remember attending a great drum clinic w/ former Steve Coleman drummer & Tonight Show stickman Marvin Smitty Smith & an aging, blind Joe Morello. After Smitty showed off pyrotechnical double kick histrionics during a trading 8's section Joe answered by smacking his kick drum with both foot pedal & left hand drumstick. He was clearly saying I can't do that & also poking fun at the new master. Tasty chops are always more musical than trying to be Virgil Donati.
no shit sherlock. read the name, then read it again. then, for a third time, read it again, and maybe then your tiny brain will pick up the whole idea of this video.
Sorry my tiny brain just can't comprehend. You got 1 thumbs down and I have 4 thumbs up. Go listen to Dennis Chambers, Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Gadd and Dave Weckl. It iain't about speed. Speed is about ego. Name a musician who has hired Tim Waterston recently. Death metal doesn't count. If you wannabe Virgil Donati go ahead, but no one will listen.
Man, ive been playing drums for a little less than a year, and i dont know all those different foot techniques, but i can do sixteenths at 183 (fastest ive been able to go) by just pushing down with my two heels alternating, if i learned how to do that crap...id be friken awesome. good job dude
