Clay is an amazing compassionate person with a beautiful voice. Being gay or straight has nothing to do with the fantastic person he is. You are correct, he is a blessing.
As a gay Christian myself, I can relate that while we don't choose our sexual orientation, we do choose whether or not to follow Jesus Christ. Fortunately, Jesus is a lot more accepting of his gay children than a lot of Christians.
The truth is that Jesus taught righteousness and homosexuality is unrighteousness. God does not accept sin. Therefore He does not accept homosexuality. If we are to follow after Christ then we must turn away from our sins (homosexuality included), take up our cross, and then we can follow Christ. And that is the biblical truth.

If revealing the truth concerning what is sin is what you call harassment, then so be it. I would rather offer someone the opportunity to see the error of their thinking and be accused of harassment then to say nothing at all. You are right that it may take time for someone to submit to truth. However, if the truth concerning the error of their thinking and the present state of their sinful being isn't revealed to them, no amount of time will bring them to repentance .

There is no such thing as a gay Christian. You can not be gay and Christian. Homosexuality is an abomination to the God of Scripture. What you call a gay Christian is something altogether different than the faith taught in the context of scripture. You are not a follower of Christ. You are a follower of your own vain imaginations. If you were a follower of Christ you would deny yourself (your gay lifestyle and any other sinful desires of the flesh) and take up your own cross.

The issue is if you can CHOOSE to live doing something that God calls sin with no intention to repent from such a thing and still be a real Christian at the same time. No follower of the Lord Jesus Christ can do such a thing. Therefore, it is impossible to be a homosexual and be a Christian at that same time. Anyone attempting to live a homosexual lifestyle and claim Christ Jesus as Lord is deceived.

From what I've read it looks like it's more of practicing a homosexual lifestyle, like gay sex and things like that are wrong. But whether it's wrong or not, do you really think that by telling someone you don't even know that they're flat out wrong like that is going to change anything? They won't want to listen to you.
This is a touching song.....It is written by a relative of mine...His name is Ira Stanphill..He is my Grandfathers first cousin.. It is wonderful to know that this song is still touching peoples lives today...I love the way Clay sings this song...My little grandson went to be with Jesus after losing his battle with cancer...It is especially touching because his name is Clay too.....

I'm very sorry about the passing of your grandson and with his name be Clay it must have been a little difficult for you to watch my montage. I have always loved 'I Know Who Holds Tomorrow' and when I heard Clay sing it I really wanted to try my hand at a montage. thanks for the reply...what was the church you were referring to? Ira has a daughter named Kathy ..her and her husband live in Sacramento and pastor a huge church.the family is continuing to be a blessing....
Ira reportedly sold a twin-engine airplane to start the Assemblies Of God Church called Bethel Temple. There is a fellowship hall that is named "Stanphill Hall" in honor of Ira and Gloria.
My paternal grand parents came forward to the altar for salvation at one of Ira's altar calls after a concert and message. I used to work in the nursery when the Stanphill family was in town.
I took care of Judy and/or Kathy on those occasions. The family was always a wonderful time for the congregation.
That was so powerful! I believe he means that with all his heart... What a wonderful thing God did when He made that voice. May Clay always have the courage of his convictions.
