  • Dude! What a cool thing to say! And I even like your dance at the end. Dance lessons are never needed when you dance with passion!

  • indeed a a wedding should be somting to celebrate. and this is very nice way to start that celebration

god bless from the Netherlands rev

  • i liked it mainly cus i think thats cool insted of the tradish u dance down and junk thats awsome that should be the new way not the old way the old way can and should be old new this is the new and inproved way and ps i have Dyslexia dont mind my spelling lol :)?

  • Thanks for standing up for JK Wedding Entrance Dance. You are correct in your comment there are many different ways to do a wedding, whether it is to stand waiting patiently for an Entrance Dance like this one, making available the church's supply of candles when a community wide power outage happens, or waiting patiently on a sandy beach because the bride's baby got hungry before the ceremony started.

  • Now this Man of Gods word, I do like, open minded. As they all should be! Respect!!

  • Oh snap, shut up all you others trolls this rev just shot you down! :D

  • nice response Rev. God bless

  • Great response man!

  • Rev., let me agree with this video response: A wedding is a combination of love, joy and engagement. I know that Christian churchs will not allow this kind of celebration. But I think it's a good idea to educate the brides and grooms the true meaning of such event. I'm agnostic, but again, this is a great demonstration that must be shared all over the world.

    Kind regards,

  • Wow!!!I mean wow!!!Your response is amazing!

  • How sweet.....nice video response, Rev, I am sure that there are many lucky couples married by you :)

  • G'day Rev,

That was a very nice video you made there, good to see people like you out there, My father is also a celebrant/minister here in my home town of Wollongong, Australia and he also uses this to encourage people to make there day memorable and stand out from the rest. I can't wait for my special day, Its going to be great. Thanks again my friend

  • Very refreshing to hear positive comments about this awesome wedding! I have watched this video many times and cannot help but smile at the joy and excitement. Way to go guys!

  • Ty Rev realy nice things you said about the Video and god bless you and your family and church Tony x

  • Thank you for the blessing snakeeyesss and to you.

  • yeah nice one your lordyship well said

  • Thanks dave577hele

  • Well said Rev..thank you for your kind comments..:)

  • I appreciate that mssonggirl, thumbs up for you comment too.

  • Hey shlyanth, thank you for leaving a GREAT comment.

  • I couldn't agree more with everything you said. God bless you.

  • I appreciate your affirmation weeniehutjunior. Thanks for leaving a comment.

  • Your video response was beautiful! When I saw their video for the first time I cried such tears of joy I thought my heart was going to burst!!!!

The only thing that can make someone (let alone millions) feel that much love, joy, peace, happiness, passion, and every other positive emotion possible all at the same time is divinely inspired!!

Those who can not see or feel that I hope someday will because they are missing out on the most wonderful effects of God's love in our hearts. Pure joy!!

  • Well said 4funthings. Thanks for the kind things you said. The video releases in us God's greatest attributes - the ones you listed. May God bless your socks off today.

  • Rev,

Thanks for your receptive video. I guess I'm naive. I couldn't believe anyone would have something negative to say about the JK Wedding Entrance Dance. Jill & Kevin's video put a smile in my heart & on my face. I think they can only have years of happiness together with a start like this.

  • I was happy to do the video because it put a smile on my face too dki205. And there are always people who ONLY want to tear down instead of build up and want to argue and fight like-the-devil about anything and everything. Ignore them. This video contained many characteristics of God which is why the response is so large and positive. We feel God in it and it feels God-good.

  • amenn

  • There are some people in this world who thrive on bringing out a piece of evil in the beauty of things. I think that it's original and very beautiful. This was great! I loved the happiness, love, and the coming together of all the people. If the devil was going to dance in the church, I would think it would be to something a bit more provocative anyways! This video is great :)

  • Or the devil would lull you to sleep with a fun dance that slowly erodes faith and the understanding of the nature of God.

  • So true noellynmike. Thanks for leaving your positive and right-on comments.

  • Thanks for your comments XXXFirebird76XXX! I'm not sure how you know what I do or don't know about the couple and for all I know, you are a Christian in name only. People also get married on beaches, in parks, backyards, homes, cruise ships, etc. And all of them are entering into a covenant with God. You will not find Satan doing that anywhere, anytime. "Obviously", I am happy to be a "part of the problem with the church in America". Keep dancing Church!

  • I think it is a acceptable assumption to say that you don't know much about the couple. Are you saying you know their actual beliefs? Or could they believe that Jesus had a few sins in his life too, so as long as they are "good people", everything should be fine?

People do get married everywhere, but if you want to blur the lines between the church and a club, then I don't believe you are doing the church in America any favors.

  • Rev I would want you at my wedding. You made my heart smile with your video and your words now. Thank you.

  • Thanks trini864, I love doing weddings. Maybe I can do yours someday.

  • Love your comment Reverand! thank you for having a full of joy heart and spreading love with you words and attitude :)

  • You're welcome gracebilavi2. I am glad you appreciate my response. Some didn't. Let your heart be full of joy too and by all means, 'spread the love'.

  • Your support of my review rocks. I appreciate it.

  • Amen to that Reverand! And thanks for posting this wonderful positive response.

  • Appreciate the 'amen', kwatson813. It was easy to post a positive response to a positive event.

  • Thank you for posting this! Wonderful!

  • You're welcome tacysassy. Thank you for stoping and making a comment.

  • Maybe not in YOUR catholic church,.... Im catholic and there is nothign wrong with what they did. They were not grinding on eachother or doing anything sexual in their dancing. A wedding does not have to be boring and quiet for it to be "worthy". God was definately smiling on this couple that day.

  • Well said, alysia9382. There really is only one Church! And it has no walls. Not only was God smiling, this celebration put smiles on a lot of faces.

  • AMEN!!!!

  • @alysia9382 Agreed completely and I'm catholic too.

  • It was good to hear this from you when so many negative comments were posted on their video.

    god bless

  • I'm glad to spread a little cheer and truth. Thanks for leaving a comment.

  • Thank you kimlethinguyen for the kind comment. Too many people feel it is their duty to spread discontent and pain. They don't realize that they are only demonstrating there own lostness. Please ignore it and look for the happiness and joy which does take place all around us everyday. I hope the video lifted your spirits for at least a moment.

  • Yall made me cry this morning, I hope that yall are married forever what a celebration that must have been just as it should be.

  • Tears of joy are quite healing. Blessings on you.

  • I hope those were tears of joy and happiness Jam4Fam! Mine were. Thanks for leaving a comment.

  • Exactly right Rev..... a new standard. I think this will be the one to compare to for 50 years. Good job. And keep up the happiness.

  • Thanks 2ndstartathaRt, I will. You do the same.

  • OK 2ndstartathaRt, I appreciate the positive comment. I will keep up the happiness just because you said to. Blessings on you.

  • Good for you Reverend. You are right. It is good to dance and rejoice before the Lord. Kevin and Jill are truly blessed to have such spirit and such wonderful and supportive family and friends. Blessings to you!

  • Thanks beentheredonethatb4, you are right and I appreciate your spirit and support. God bless your socks off.

  • I love your attitude Rev! I've been a Christian for 35 years and this wedding entrance was the bomb! I loved their enthusiasm. Weddings are a time to rejoice, not to sad and stuffy! Kudo's to you for agreeing! :0)

  • Alright there4me247, thank you for the strong 'love' statement about my attitude. I hope you and everyone else is seeing the whole video in addition to the short segment I place in my vid.

I haven't seen any sad weddings yet but several have been stuffy but I like you really enjoyed seeing the wedding party display their enthusiasm on behalf of the couple at their event.

Appreciate your comments, thanks for taking the time to make 'em.

  • Thank you rev... God isn't my mentor, but it brings me joy to see people have an open mind to different things.

  • You're welcome, sidewaysntraffic. God has an open mind, so He may be more of a mentor to you than you feel or sense. I love it when people have open minds. It means you are willing to consider new thoughts and concepts which could lead you to a deeper understanding about God, yourself and others. So, you have brought me joy today by leaving a positive, open-minded, God-like comment. Bless you.

  • Are you the guy in the video with the beard? Are you really, honestly a minister for real? Because I may have a question I would like to aks you

    Thank you

    Evelyn in Ohio

  • thumbs up for the Rev !

  • Comment removed

  • I'm so happy a minister in this video said this. So many people are saying their defiling marriage, yada yada yada. I guess for them weddings are supposed to be boring, stuffy, and unenjoyable until the reception where everyone says Let's Eat! They even picked a great song, "Forever".

It's obvious from the video these are people who are VERY DEEP in love with eachother. God isn't into the superficial outlook of weddings like humans are engrossed with. It's to show you deep commitment.

  • Thank you rakrobn. It is nice to read your comments and the comments of others who understand what is happening in this video. I think the song is perfect for this event - 'forever' is a theologlical term. 'Love' is the signature attribute of God.

In my humble opinion, God is more offended by our offerings of 'boring, stuffy, and unenjoyable' attempts at worship and more pleased with sincere, creative, entergetic movement in Church.

Man, there I go preaching again.

    Blessings forever!!!

  • Thanks Reverend,

Some found the video to be disrespectful in the eyes of the Lord and like yourself I beg to differ. Its great having a member of the clergy weigh in on this video and settle any controversy. Some people don't realize this really is nothing new, the Southern Black Baptist Churches have been doing this type of celebrating in the house of our Lord for decade.

I am sure God and his Son Jesus had the same smile on thier face's as we all did watching it. Thanks again, God Bless.

  • You're welcome Reverend. Thank you for reminding us that there are churches that get it. Joyous worship pleases the Trinity - God, the Father whom we worship, God, the Son who saves us, and God, the Spirit who is present in our lives and the world today. Keep dancing before Him, in and out of Church. And thank for leaving such a great comment.

  • We dance in our church before the Lord--as David did! We have so many wonderful young Christian couples marrying every year and this kind of joyous procession would be an honour to God, as we, the Bride of Christ will celebrate in an ecstatic dance of our own one Day soon!

Good job! I encourage all believing young couples to get on board!

  • Well said Floatingaxe! The Bride of Christ is, right now, this minute, preparing a place for us for the expressed reason of celebrating with Him at our arrival there. As a matter of fact, the last time He broke bread with his closest friends, he told them he would not take bread or the cup again until everyone was untied for the great victory CELEBRATION!!! Can't wait, personally.

    Blessings on you Floatingaxe.

  • Thank you for being a positive voice from the Christian community about the dance when there are so many negative comments from the conservative Christians downing the fact that this is an amazingly fun and energetic way to enter into the ceremony, and instead only focusing on the fact that they "desecrated" the church by dancing in. I wish we could all dance into our sunday services, to help us to be joyful as we go to worship the Lord. The dance, and this video, have made my week. Thank you.

  • I'm with you FBIFriday! I tried to get the churches I served to be more antimated in worship but I got shut down hard and fast based on the same "desecration" arguement. We should dance into Sunday Services!! We have a lot to dance about before God. He likes it when we get real with Him. He wants to be real to us. He doesn't hold back, why should we? (Oh man . . . am I preaching here?)

I'm glad the video blessed you FBI, and you're welcome. Thanks for the comments.

  • Yeah! it's true weddings are can be so blah sometimes, this one was great! i totally agree with you. thanks for speaking for normal happy Christians everywhere, and having some fun yourself! ;)

  • Hey griffles22, blah sometimes yes, but that is from your perspective and mine too for a long time till I realized that from the perspective of the B & G it is quite an important and significant event. Many time the plans are made based on trying to make others happy and comfortable which produces some blah as opposed to Jill and Kevin who took a risk to do something edgy but still within the bounds of the tradition. And it was GREAT for everyone. I even noticed the minister swaying a bit.

  • Good for you Pastor!! You sound so southern baptist, and I am complementing you

  • Thank you Buckeye Secretary. I have been SB but am United Methodist for now. I know many pastors in both denominations who will not do what I do. Number one, they don't think I should get paid to perform the Sacraments of the Church and number two, they don't believe weddings should be done outside the Church membership. I think that is sad and too bad. Just my humble opinion.

    Thanks for your support.

  • go minister!

    go minister!

    ha ha ha

    But seriously,

If you've been to one wedding, you probably been to them all and it's inspiring for a couple to do something fun, different, and entertaining for a change.

  • You're right ref1ex. All of them are Divine simply because it's entering into a covenant with God as God intended, so He always shows up to do His part. But when a couple inserts their own creativity and personality it becomes uniquely theirs which I enjoy because the ceremony is different for me. I had a couple exchange vows in French once and it was so beautiful to see and hear, I was moved to tears.

  • All pastors should be like you! It's the 21st century not the Middle Ages. This was a celebration not a funeral.

  • Thank you fldonna2004, that's how I feel about it too.

  • Nope, there's not many pastors like you, and being a recovering catholic, there are ZERO priests like you. That's one of the reasons why I left. Too much guilt and shame!!!! Thoroughly enjoyed this and would love to be a part of your e-congregation!! :) God bless!

  • The only guilt or shame that should come when it comes to being a priest/pastor is if you're a Catholic, living the most CORRUPT and hypocritical part of the christian religion, but none the less God Bless

  • as a fellow pastor, i couldn't agree with you more. the joy in this procession did remind me of the reference to david as well. can't help but think that all of the people touched by this are relating to it at a spiritual level that they might not even realize. what better thing to celebrate..... when love and the institution God created in marriage is a bit reckless? thanx for being a new kind of pastor that that can think outside the "religious" box. you go brother!!!

  • wotrwokr, if I could give you two thumbs up I would. I appreciate the collegiate affirmation and you are right. I am convinced that the appeal of the wedding processional IS touching everyone at a spiritual level where God resides in us. All of us believe experiencing God should look, sound and feel this way but the institutional church fails to fill the need in our lives for joy, excitement, and love adequately. And I am happy to be a pastor out the "religious box".

  • And now I'm laughing @ your dance moves ~ HAHA! Why can't I have a Pastor like you???

  • Hey Marymarybobeary, you are the first to comment on my dance moves. My wife is always after me to dance. I thought for a long time it was because I am a good dancer but I figured out she just needs a good laugh every now and then. And I am not sure there a many pastors like me. I am considering though becoming an online pastor. Maybe you could be in my econgregation. God bless your socks off.

  • I came here figuring you were going to totally rip on this, and was so happy you said what you did!! TRULY JOYFUL TO WATCH!!! :)

  • Bravo reverin=d!!!!

  • Way to get to the point jtobin13! Blessings on you.

  • I agree with you very much...this was a blessing and very refreshing to see! Thanks for posting your video comment!

  • Thanks for the agreement paleo2569, I have been blessed over and over again by it. Making the video comment was my pleasure.

  • That was so nice of you minister. I bet they start a new trend for peoples weddings for sure. God bless!

  • I hope so brandon0820, I hope so!

  • I agree that this video has uplifted everyone. I watch it daily and it just fills me with joy and energy.

  • That's a great way to get joy-filled phildiaco. Keep it up and thanks for the comment.

  • heavens angel, yes you are.

DIOS CONTIGO SIEMPRE. GOD BE WITH YOU ALWAYS.

  • Hi revdalec...ABC and NBC both booked the couple for appearances on their morning shows. Evidently ABC was paying but the appeared on NBC show first. When ABC found out they had them thrown out of their hotel and cancelled their return airline tickets. NBC stepped in and picked up the bill for everything thankfully. Like I commented earlier ABC dropped the ball by not confirming their appearances and I think it was wrong they put J & K in that position for their mistake. NBC saved the day!

  • Thanks for bringing me up to speed Valorietx. And kudos to NBC like you said for saving the day. Sure makes ABC look petty and childish. God bless your socks off.

  • Aw, you rock dude!

  • Well said Brother. God is good and I'm sure he was up there dancing with them as they were dancing. Jill and Kevin, you two are very blessed and I thank you for the awesome video!

  • I'm sure He was too jasonbanshee. thanks for leaving your comment.

  • This wedding video has brought me such joy and every time I see the bride, I well up with tears...they all just look so happy. I think it speaks volumes that this video has taken off the way it has...with computers/+500 channels on TV/voice mail/twitter/etc., people aren't interacting as much as before and maybe this wedding is reminding us that nothing can substitute the human connection whether that is through love, friendship, laughter and of course...dancing :) Best to you, Rev.

  • Hi julz2bug, we all could use more joy in our lives and their video reminds us what it looks and feels like in a setting where it should be - in relation to God, the Creator of "love, friendship, laughter and of course . . . dancing". Thanks for your comment here and blessing on me

    julz2bug.

  • I am not a believing guy... But i would go to your chuch for sure! Nice open mind you have sir...

  • Thank you ruimatos46, if I had a church you would be VERY WELCOME!! Thanks for making a comment to my vid.

  • I'd like to say more specifically what it is about this video that moved me. Some comments on the original posting criticized the quality of the dancing or the style of the clothes... basically judging it like an American Idol episode. But the lack of "gloss" is a major reason why I like it even more. Most of these people are obviously not pros, but still they chose to disregard any potential embarrassment in order to participate as a gift for their friends, with complete abandon and generosity.

  • Great post fleenster, I liked for the same reason as you. It is authentic and real for their occasion. When I saw the video of the Today Show, it was not the same. Thanks for making a solid point.

  • Thank you for saying this to them and the other critics who say this wasnt suppose to be in the church. Thank you so much for saying that GOD doesn't mind!

  • You're welcome seatacatl. I believe it. God bless you today and do a dance today.

  • I've watched their video so many times, I almost feel like I know they personally or like I was there when it happened! And it still puts a smile on my face every time I watch it.

I agree seatacatl. Their dancing wasn't vulgar, nor was the song distasteful. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:16 "Rejoice evermore." so why not? For me, my wedding day was the happiest day of my life (until I had my son, of course).

  • stonejessica1976 I feel the same, like their friends of mine. I wish they would tell us about the people in the wedding party...introduce them to the world too. They played a huge part in this phenomenon too so it would be nice to know a little about them.

There are not many people that would be willing to put themselves out there like that but they all clearly love the couple so they deserve their props too.

Hopefully they will post more videos..maybe a "delivery room hustle" in the future

  • Good man. Weddings are a joyous occasion indeed. May God bless you in your work.

  • Thank you CeltJas for the comment and blessing. Unto you as well.

  • DId they do this dance in Slumdog Millionaire?

  • Sorry UT00ber50, you are way ahead of me here. I don't know about Slumdog Millionaire.

  • Oh, you've got to see it, rev. It's a beautiful movie. Talk about moving and joyful!

  • I'm with you now. Slumdog M is a movie. I will rent it and take a look. Thanks for the recommendation.

  • At the time I first watched their video, I had been very depressed from so many things that were happening in my life, (just a bad time for many people) but this video lifted me and made me smile again....finally. I am a Muslim and I find that people of all religions are being lifted by this happy couple. God bless them, and thank you Rev for your wonderful prospective.

  • TonyaAlabma, so happy to hear about the positive impact this video had on lifting your heart and spirit. I have been impacted in the same way as you. And thank you for your kind and thoughtful words to me. I appreciate you sharing your heart here.

  • How refreshing!!! When I first saw that a "Rev" had posted a video,I was expecting a long and drawn out diatribe about why they should have been "serious and respectful" in God's House. I'm so glad I was wrong! Thanks for being positive! We should always seek to worship and praise God with reckless abandon---after all, the whole world is His church! Blessings to you, Rev...

  • You made my day 442toy! Some of us are not all that dogmatic and stoic. I love doing wedding here in Wilmington NC and while I have not been approached with a proposal for this type of processional, I certainly would allow it if I were approached. Thanks for the statement about worship and praise. And thanks for blessing me!

  • i agree Rev the video gives me ideas for my wedding lol god bless

  • I occasionally have played at weddings over the years, and this video made me laugh really loud throughout the whole thing, I was filled with so much joy, wow! My best bud who is a music minister and also plays in clubs cried like a baby...he "got it" we need the joy of Jesus, especially at a wedding!

  • Thank you JazzH20 for the affirmation and comment. I appreciate that. And I love the screen name.

  • Yeah Rev Dale I couldn't agree more!! You ought to be on the Oprah show.....what does everyone else think???

  • This whole thing brings so much joy to people. I agree with your sentiments reverend and I hope they see your video.

  • Why Thank You so much PinkLederhosen! I did send them an email and request a telephone interview with them. But I am with you, I hope they at least see my vid.

  • Rev. Dale, thank you for the uplifting words. And Jill and Kevin, thank you for showing us how to truly remember a glorious day.

  • JKedPhotography,

You are welcome and thanks for passing along the sentiment. Blessings on you and Jill & Kevin!

  • Thank you for expressing my thoughts so eloquently. The first time I saw this I laughed & cried. By the end of the video I was wishing this couple all the best & hoped their marriage would last.

    Congrats Jill & Kevin!

  • Your are welcome ONLY1BLAZE. I think the knot for this wedding is tied pretty tight and the marriage will last forever - just like the song says.

  • Taylor Hicks??

  • Pastor, thank you for saying your words.

  • Well said!!

  • I appreciate that brilondon. Thanks for the comment.

  • Leaping and dancing before the Lord. Leaping, and dancing! The Lord sitting on the throne grinning in joy saying "now that's what I'm talkin' about". My spirit so bears witness to this. I watched this all weekend. It brings me so much joy! We have been a stiff necked church. Well the wind of change is blowing, and the Lord WILL have his way. There will be joy in the Lord's house. No more Eeyore's on the corner saying "'woe unto me because I am a Christian"! Hallelujah praise the Lord of Lords

  • Oh yea, thanks gillsy58 for saying so good again.

  • still smiling I think I've watch it a dozen time and again still smiling

  • so U say

  • Reverend, your video was very uplifting. Thank you for your video response, and thank you for your devotion to the Heavenly Father. Please take care and God bless.

  • Thank you piousone, I was uplifted viewing Jill and Kevin's bridal party entrance. I appreciate you comments and blessing unto you as well.

  • Thank you for your comment, minister....the wedding video is awesome..ive seen it multiple times!

  • OK TheUsername5552009. I was happy to make the comment because that is how I feel about even though a lot of my colleagues don't feel this way. And thanks for the repeat viewings. Be blessed today, tomorrow and forever.

  • thank you so much! bless you as well! stay cool : )

  • Thanx Pastor for not being Staunch!!!

We need more fun in our life & this video has brought a lot of amiles to a lot of people!!!

  • You are welcome Janice327 and thank you for taking time to leave your comments.

  • This is the best wedding celebration I've ever seen. Man and woman joined together in the sight of the lord as he ordained. Singing and dancing as if to say "look pops, we did just like you said we should". I can just see the Lord sitting on the throne tapping his foot in pleasure. Praise God! I hope to see many more celebrate in the Lord's house!

  • ME TOO!! I hope to see more of the same inside and outside of the Lord's house.

  • God isn't real.

  • Say more gillsy58. You left us hanging here.

  • so U say

  • And it's true.

  • It was a great way for them to celebrate the beginning of their lives together. May them have happy long years and a bright future. My sister will be getting married within a couple years and I'm going to recommend that they do something like this!

  • JSpigsRemix, thanks for the comment and send your sister this way and we'll help her and her fiance do something special like this for the ceremony. Peace be yours.

  • I'm an atheist but I have to say: This is how it should be! And that is is possible in the church is fantastic. No church in Denmark would allow that.

    You rock America!

  • Hey SEOLEX, nice sentitment you posted. Thanks for being open-minded about it.

  • ONLY IN AMERICA, this spirit is what makes America unique in this world. God Bless America.

  • So true threefour66, thanks for the great comment here.

  • Well said!

  • Thank you Phundaze

  • Can't get enough of watching this video. Thanks to youtube we can enjoy such a joyful moment in the life of these people, even though we've never met them. Kudos to your original idea! Congrats to the newly weds.
