In my opinion I think the reason why the super power(s) of the world, the USA, EU etc are turning a blind eye to Israel is that they provide stability to the region and keep countries like Iran in check.

The US has more to lose if it meddles in the affairs of Israel ie. weapons technology and intelligence etc.

I don't see any reversal of the current situation occuring until Iran disarms itself of nuclear weapons or a democracy is set up in Iran.
