  • where do you get the helmets

  • @craigsimmo1 In the UK, you can buy from boardridersguide in sussex, or from a number of onlne stores - search for b2 skate. In the US, I'm not sure, but it should be easier to find as that's where they're made. Good luck. Let me know what you think if you buy one, or you find something better.

  • I like the idea but if I got one I would get mad b/c if every thing is not perfect before I do a trick or something I'll be thinking of it before I do it and with more stuff in my head to think about being right I'll usuly mess up and not get it. I have bult some expincive knee pads and I have wore the 2 times Beacuse a park near me requires them but I hardly ever go to skateparks, I street skAte in town a lot.

  • @15skatefool Yeah, some people complain that wearing protection distracts them, but you get used to it really quickly, and this helmet is really light. Still, when you're skating in your back yard you don't really need it - it's only when you start doing stairsets and grinding walls or riding the pipe that the danger starts.

  • may seem like a stupid question, but will this fit well on a woman's head?

  • @emmagiine That's a really good question, thanks! They don't do gender specific helmets, so I'm fairly certain that head shapes must be the same (unlike legs and bodies). There is a certain amount of soft liner in this helmet that allows for head shape irregulaities, and there are a bunch of different sizes ,so if women have smaller heads it won't be a problem.

  • It seems pretty standard for a skate helmet. I got a cheap helmet from walmart maybe 4 or 5 years ago and it seems like it would fit the same description.

  • @isegul1 It's not how it looks, it's what it does. I ride a motorcycle and there's a lot of tech behind similiar loking helmets. I imagine this would be the same. I wouldn't trust Walmart to provide safe toilet paper, but I guess your experience proves me wrong.

  • @matbroomfield I've taken enough slams that I can trust it to do it job. I guess I can't really call it cheap, it probably cost me between $20 and $25, but I think it was on sale. I'm just saying that it probably didn't cost that much for Pro-Tec to manufacture the helmet and you can get almost the same exact thing for a relatively cheaper price. I'm also pretty sure toilet paper is one of the few well made things walmart sells,

  • @isegul1 dumbass

  • @masenz Why exactly am I a dumbass?

  • @isegul1 because you dont have the common sense to differenciate a pro-tec high grade helmet from a shitty styrofoam cup that you can get from walmart. Go ahead. Buy the walmart one and see how well it takes the impact

  • you should post a video of you skateboarding :)

  • @Zodeeem Thanks man - the day that I have anything at all worthy of posting, I'll do it, but there are millions of skateboarding vids of good skaters - who wants to see a useless old guy wobbling along! ;-)

  • @matbroomfield who cares how bad u are if u are O_O just post sumthing
