This track sounds like a rip-off of Elton John's "Benny & The Jets"...it's a shame we can't be more creative,especially with all the technology that's available to us.We're just recycling old hits to make it sound familiar.I'm not trying to hate on Jennifer,she sounds nice on the track but it's kinda lame if you ask me.

@jcsgroove I understand where you would get your general idea of recycling old hits. But songs were being recycled long before this day and age. There are some pretty creative songs out there even now. And tho this may sounds similar to elton john, i dont think the idea of recycling was really at the forefront of the ideas for this song's particular melody.

@jcsgroove Oh i trust you and i get where you are coming from. And there is certainly a list that could go on for days about newly recycled songs,lol. I suppose I was pointing out that tho there are songs that are being reused now,its not a surprising or just a sad concept b/c its something that has been done b4 & will continue. No matter how progressive technology gets. & that also there are many songs out there that are very original,they just may not be played as much.

We lost entire generations of musicians to "push-button" productiion and beat making...lots of the younger "musicians" didn't put in the time to learn their craft but,since they could somewhat make good sounds without using real musicians,they saved the record companies money.That's why not many CD's have any life.No actual musicians.I'm on the soapbox cause this is what I do! haha

@lovelygoldensparrow Yeah I know it's my right but,I don't like to come across as a hater :-) I like some of today's music as well...since I'm a professional musician,I HAVE to listen and learn to play it correctly or I won't EAT!!! haha! But even when the old school stuff wasn't liked or appreciated,they at least could actually play it. I played at Essence Festival this past July and most of the artists weren't even singing for real.Charlie Wilson KILLED em singing for real w/live music! :-)
