My conductor (Dan Scholz) was telling me about this... hilarious!! Apparently when they do out-of-town concerts, they need to hire a conductor -- any conductor. I guess this guy just happened to be an Elvis Impersonator haha... nice job guys!

This actually happened in my home town. What happened was they had a contest for someone who is NOT a director to try and direct the WSO. This guy, being a town celebrity, won. The actual conductor is the lady who introduced him who is one of the official conductors for the WSO.
