  • ur a faggot

  • About the Yuma review. I guess it was hard to buy the 180 degree turn but the way i see it is that these two guys had a lot in common, they had very strong personalities but they also didn't really fit in.. they recognized that in each other and that connection was what prompted the change.

Anyway i don't know if that made sense but i loved the movie, great acting, dialogue i literally loved the everything about it from the first scene to finish and it was better than the proposition.

  • Bro ur awesome. First Movie Thing I seen of yours and It was def entertaining. However, being completely and totally In love with angelina jolie since first seeing her in Hackers and Fox Fire going forward her reviews should always be 2 Brows Up LoL. (And yes I know that run on sentence from hell has butchered the english language.)

  • Oh wow, Hackers. She's probably the only good thing about it. ^_^ Thank you very much! I'm hoping to get started on more Movie Things again sooner rather than later, but uni stuff and other work is kind of getting in the way.

  • Gay!

  • Unoriginal!

  • for some strange reason the ending didnt frighten me as much as it should have. Great job, I agreed with you on almost everything ^^

  • feeling slightly disturbed right about now :S

I love the way u edit these things, it's really cool.

  • ^_^ Thanks a lot! I spent a long time on every episode, so it's nice to hear that.

  • hahahah at the end when you were dressed and talking like a girl it was kinda scary et hilarious

  • The ending even took ME by surprise, to be honest! ^_^

  • heh, thought i'd hate this video, but nice, good points you made....especially about that evan almighty movie....and I haven't even seen it.

And Wanda Sykes uses the same "I've got attitude" routine every fucking time.

    Good reviews.

  • ^_^ Thanks a lot! I like to be pleasantly surprised, so I'm glad I could do the same! One question, though: What made you watch it even if you thought it'd be bad?! ^_^

Yeah, Sykes tends to annoy me a lot. VARY YOUR SHTICK, LADY!!!

  • fucking freak

  • Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! have a good day!

  • For some reason you make me think of like Simon whatshisassholeface combined with the Heath Ledger. But you seem like someone me and my idiot girlies would hang out with. You're a beastie. And not to mention, you're absolutely hilarious. -favorites-

  • You're the second person to compare me to Heath Ledger so far! That's just weird!! I mean, he's a good-lookin' hunk of a man and I'm... well, let's not get into that. ^_^

Thanks a lot... I think! If you and your idiot girlies are ever in Edinburgh, give me a buzz.

  • brit shit

  • How utterly original!

  • how come your accent is so english if you're norwegian?

  • I made an effort to speak and write proper English, basically. ^_^

  • but still, it is amazing, i would never have know you weren't english. do all norwegian people speak good english?

  • Nah. Not everyone would make he same kind of an effort that I have. ^_^ Thanks a lot.

  • seachd is pronounced "shachk" - kind of a hard sound for english speakers to do usually, you were surprisingly close though.

  • heh, thanks. I didn't think ANYONE would answer me, but now three people have! ^_^ That's quite awesome. You're just helping me understand it even better!

  • That was extremely creepy seeing you act like a 13-year old. But anyway good video

  • What? Me? That was my sister, Magriana! I don't know what you're talking about...

  • i am so incredibly jealous that you can raise one eyebrow, i do it manually.

  • ^_^ I can even alternate! However, I can't do the Jack Black thing and make them go in waves. That is just superhuman.

  • I can't believe you actually sat through Bratz... or went at all... They must have given you strange looks at the theater.

Anyway, to answer your 3:10 to Yuma critique (because that's the only one I've actually seen), it is surprising how many people died for him instead of them just plain old killing him, but I think it had to be done in the interest of 1) keeping the movie going and

  • 2) suspense - anyone could die, it's not like those movies where you know what's going to happen, you just don't know how. Also I think the change in character was hinted at throughout the entire movie.. but that's just my thought. I loved it.

  • Psha! As if! Everyone knows the only opinion that counts is MY opinion! Silly! ^_^ Yeah, you bring up some fair points, though I wasn't really talking about the people in the group particularly, just the sheer amount of carnage near the end. Just killing people left and right. Oh, and why did they have to kill Alan Tudyk?! Can't that guy catch a break?! *cries over Wash* (that makes no sense if you're not a Firefly fan)

  • haha, no I'm not, but I know a lot of people who are... it's like this bizarre thing that keeps coming up, like overhearing people talking who've been to Narnia...okay not quite but anyway don't worry Magnulus. As long as you act like you're the only one who matters you will be the only one there (j/k)

OKAY I'm off peak today I blame it on the tonsillitis. And sitting around reading the Narnia books. Cheers!

  • Never was a Narnia person, really.

  • The books are really, really weird. My sister and I had the original movie on beta tape when we were little, watched it a lot, but that's all I remember about it. Nick has the books from when he was little so I decided to read them. Having just finished book three (of 7) I'm pretty sure Aslan is.. um, God. And it's so bizarre that Christmas is obviously made out to be entirely about presents in the first book (the one the movies are made about). There's more but too much more.

    so bizarre!!

  • I used to love the original series (though I remember I made a lot of fun of the girl who found the closet, she had this huge overbite, see) but upon re-watching it in recent years, it has lost most of its charm since then. The original story just isn't strong enough, if you ask me. There's like a Jesus figure and the Father Christmas, and then these annoying kids and the faun and the talking beavers (!!)...

  • No, it's not a very strong story. And you really can't tell why these kids deserve to be Kings and Queens in Narnia - Lucy's just the one the book's dedicated to, Peter waves his sword around a little, Susan says maybe three lines the whole book, and Edmund is a spoiled little brat.

  • your facial expressions slay me. you are so wonderfully entertaining. i had to favorite this after watching it twice and knowing i'm going to want to watch it / show it to others very soon.

    :)

  • Wow, that's really awesome of ya! Didn't think people would favourite such a long video! ^_^

  • omg I didn't realize that you played the girl until the end. I seriously thought you did a collab video lol Well thanks for telling me about movies I never heard of, I can't wait to watch them :) I love how passionate you are about movies.

  • I'm glad to hear it. Means I did my "job" well. ^_^

  • another good video thanks for sharing

  • And thanks for thanking me for sharing! ^_^

  • Enjoyed the reviews. "Seachd" is pronounced "shachk."

  • Yay! Another Gaelic-speaker! ^_^ Yeah, I got help with that earlier. I hadn't expected to be told at all, let alone TWICE! Thanks a lot!

  • i actually liked the robinsons... but i like a lot of childish movies... ok, the 13 year old reenactment kinda frightened me on many different levels...

  • Feeling conflicted? It's okay, this is a girl you CAN be attracted to. ^_^

  • actually i was kinda curious who's bra you were wearing seeing as how i don't believe (i hope) it's yours...

  • Well, that's a WHOLE other story!! ^_^

  • I was surprised when Manriana appears. She's as funny hell as you are. Is she your alter ego? Wll she's cool though. TOTALEEEEYYY

  • ^_^ She's my younger sister! *ahem*

  • Thanks again, awesome vid - like totally awesome like ;P

    Downloading Superbad ;P

PS; Not sure if you told somewhere but how do you get to see all those movies? Do you work in a cinema or wtf? Must cost a fortune if not...

  • Nah, I've got the Unlimited Card at Cineworld. 12 quid a month and you can watch as many films as you like. The ONLY restriction is that you have to buy the tickets on the same day as the show you're gonna watch. Not once had any problems with getting seats, though.

  • Damn that sounds cool, don't think we have such cards here.

  • All Cineworlds do, so if you have a cineworld in your neighbourhood, check 'em out.

  • no problem. also it means 'seven'. i dunno if you knew that.

  • I had no idea. Kind of makes sense, though. I didn't think I'd ever be answered on that question, so thanks a lot yet again. ^_^

  • O_O

it took me like until the third "yeah!" to realise it was you...

  • HAHAHAH! That is awesome. Means I did well. ^_^

  • Feasgar math - good evening in Scots Gaelic ;)

Seachd is pronounced roughly the same as the english 'shock' but with a much harder 'k' sound. 'sh-oh-K'

but not a bad attempt from you.

    mar sin leat :)

  • Awesome! Thanks a lot for that! I'll try to remember to include that in my next episode!

  • Wow that is a really big tat for a 13 year old girl. Thanks for the review. You saved me on wondering about some of the first films you named. I really like Steve Carrell and Jon Stewart. But the movie looked rather dumb.

Oh well. :) Some of the movies I've not heard of, but will be looking into trying to watch em'.

  • Just be glad I don't remember the specifics of the jokes Jon Stewart were given. They were awful, awful jokes, I can tell you that much. In hindsight, it may have been intentional, but in that case, they still made a bad choice with his jokes.

  • Thank you for Evan Almighty review. Madly in love with Steve Carrell (and Jon Stewart) but the flick looked very, very lame. :( (You sure catch a lot of movies. Cheese and rice... When do you study, etc?!?) :P MAGRIANA... Best movie reviewer of our time... :)

  • Saturday is my movie-day, which means I'll watch 4 movies before it's even six in the evening. That helps rack up the number. ^_^

Also, I live just a five-six minute walk from the cinema, so it's not that much more time consuming than popping in a DVD.

  • LOL nice 13 year old girl impresion. simply genious! i laffed so hard i started suffocating (slight exadgeration but u get my point)

  • Heheheh, I do. And I used to do that when I was a kid. I'd get these fits of laughter while I was with my friends, and I'd laugh so hard I couldn't breathe. ^_^

    Thanks a lot!

  • um, I paused your vid after seeing the title Evan Almighty in your description... I don't think I want to see an even moderately good review of that movie... is it safe? can I continue? without a nod from you I shall assume you liked that movie and your movie thing will lose all credibility... let me know. 8‹D

  • *chuckles* Just to alleviate your fears, I'll tell you that I gave it a blank stare, so you can safely continue watching. ^_^

  • whew! OK...

  • Heheh. I didn't crush it, like you may have hoped for, but a blank stare can almost be worse than a frown.

  • i was expecting at least one orgasmic happiness :( im hoping their will be one in the next movie review

  • There aren't that many orgasmic movies out there. Maybe next time! ^_^

  • mostly because i dont know wat a orgasmic happines is and wanted to find out and was hopeing for u to provide us with that knowledge ^_^

  • In any case, I'm fully intending to add a segment to the show where I recommend one film at the end, and that will probably end up being comprised moslty of orgasmics. ^_^

  • Great Guuga Muuga! That's a junk-ton of movies man. Thanks for the advice on the flicks. Although I really liked "3:10 to Yuma". I'm a sucker for Westerns.

  • Well, I did like it, and I liked it enough to tell my father about it, since I know he'd like it. The character thing just annoyed me a lot.

  • Yeah but he called for his horse man! He hasn't changed he was just really pissed off for the last five minutes!

  • Yeah, he knew he was going to get off and all that, but the whole "suddenly I care about you" thing was just too much for me to swallow. And of course Bale's final "I'm so hell-bent on not having my son see me as a coward, I will kill every man in this entire town to prevent it" thing is a bit heavy.

  • Okay.. some of the movies you mentioned i have no idea what they are.

Evan almighty i was actually just thinking about watching soon lol

Mr Woodcock.. your reaction was PRICELESS

BRATS OMG HAHAHA IF YOU DIDNT HAVE THAT AWESOME TATTOO...i would have actually thought that was a girl..SCARY

i totally agree with the whole Brats thing is sooo stupid

    omg SUPERBAD WAS SOOO FUNNNY!

Also the heartbreak kid.. thanks :) i wanted to see this movie...i think im going to download it when it comes out!

  • They're good at playing some smaller films at the cinema, and also, they play more British films than they will in the states.

I notice people saying this about me as a girl, and I have to say, I think that even though they may be right, I'm not exactly a lucky girl in the looks department. Strong chin, wide shoulders (for a girl), big and crooked nose, huge hands... a BEARD! ^_

  • but still very very sexy! lol

  • very entertaining and great critics!

  • ^_^ Thanks a lot.

  • Personally I think Billy Bob Thornton is a no talent hack.

But you as a 13 year old girl? HILARIOUS!

As usual, great video. You've quickly become one of my favorites.

  • Heheh, thanks a lot.

Thornton used to have good roles, but after his oscar, he's only done shit.

  • Yeah, superbad surprised me too, and I enjoyed how you fit your lunch in there with all those commentaries, two eyebrows, Mag...

  • Thanks a lot! I HAD to eat, so it was only natural. ^_^

  • Aww...a girl with a beard and "dark" roots prettier than actual girls... *sigh*

^_^ it was cool Magsy! I likeded it. Fun to watch as an evening treat as well as it would have been in the morning. *huggles*

  • Glad you likeded it, babe! Yeah, I can't really help it if I'm irresistible. Poor conflicted girls and boys of Youtube. ^_^

  • hehe

i thought that was a girl at first

    and so did my brother

    :D :D

  • "Woah! Who's the hot- WAAAAUUUUGH!!!"

And then he took a five hour shower? ^_^

  • hehe

    not quite.

i said 'haha, i actually thought that was a girl'

and he was like, 'what, is that him?'

  • HAHAH! ^_^ Love that!

  • your movie things are always fun

    thanks a bunch

    rock it to hogwarts

  • ^_^ Thanks a lot for saying so. It doesn't feel so entertaining after having worked on it for a day. *chuckles*

  • I saw you! I did! I could see you watching!

    (That was pretty freaky...)

  • Do High School Musical 2!! Zac Efron! :D

    hehe

    you don't have to.

  • Heheheh. If it comes to my local cinema, I will review it.

  • it's not at cinemas, it's on the disney channel. :D

  • Exactly. ^_^

  • Yeah, the girls in my family tend to have a bit of trouble with facial hair. ^_^

  • You're the first person whose opinions agree with mine concerning the flaws in 3:10 to Yuma and Mighty Heart.

Ah, with the dressing as a 13 year old girl... You just know how to keep a guy happy. Watching you sink your teeth in that juicy meat burger made a lot of muscles rise in me. You know Mags, if you ever feel like cooking dinner, I promise I'd make you breakfast *wink*.

But, could you recommend some Norwegian 70's, 80's movies? I study film so I like to see as many styles as possible.

  • Well, one that's kind of interesting these days is "Veiviseren", also known as the movie that "Pathfinder" was based loosely off. Also, The Brothers Lionheart, which is actually Swedish, is amazing. Then there's Sigurd Drakedreper and Haakon Haakonsen (Known as Shipwrecked in the Outlands. ^_^)

  • I loved 3:10 to Yuma!!! only one eybrow? oh come ooon!!! :P

  • Heheheh. Well, if it weren't for Crowe's character's U-turn near the end, it would have gotten two. If you like 3:10, do check out Proposition, because that is a FANTASTIC film.

  • hahahaha thanks alot xDD

  • No no, thank YOU! ^_^

  • So the haircut is really growing on me, I really like it now. and you have a great smile! But please, please, I'm begging you, never dress like a girl again..... it's just too creepy *shivers from creepiness*

  • It's just because it makes you feel conflicted, because I'm so hot. ^_^

Too bad I'm going to cut my hair again pretty soon. I'm just waiting for my clippers to be shipped.

  • That's actually a little true... you make an attractive girl(except for the facial hair of course), which is allot of the creepiness, lol. Well just don't cut it all off, k?

  • Hehehe, I'll just snip it down pretty short and then let it grow for a while again before I snip it short again. I just don't like going to the hairdresser.

  • i told you you couldn't cut your hair anymore!!!!

  • Loved the video, you make really good insights on films without giving away the plot.

The giggling at the end, however, was severely disturbing...

  • ^_^ Thanks a lot, Yunnan, I really appreciate that. I try to be as specific as I can without giving too much away, but it isn't easy. Also, it helps that I try to keep the reviews short.

The giggling... Yeah, I don't normally take it to that level, so to speak, so i kind of thought about not keeping it, but what came after it made me keep it.

  • hahaha your 13-year old looks disturbing with that beard hshs. almost looked like glenn close.

when are we gonna see "orgasmic happinrss"?

  • Whenever I see an absolutely fantastic movie. ^_^ I find myself getting turned on every time I see my Bratz segment... Does that make me a bad person?

  • lmao. this was really kewl and entertaining. my favourite part is about Bratz - XD

    5/5 = orgasmic video enjoyness

  • ^_^ Thanks a lot.

  • Another good reivew Magnulus.

    Atonement looks so interesting.

O-M-G you did not sit through Bratz?! Did you get strange looks?

I am scared of the evil bimbo girl you, maybe make a film about her :P

  • Strange looks? Not really. There was no one there but me. ^_^ Maybe the people who work there looked at me strangely, but they're used to people with Unlimited Cards.

  • your funny.

  • I'm glad you think so, because after looking at my own jokes for most of yesterday, I kind of don't think so any more. ^_^

  • Awesome vid.

  • Thanks a lot. I try. ^_^

  • OMG are you serious, a 13year-old chriscrocker-morbeck-mashup...?

    o_0

  • and... why do you keep staring at my left ear ? ;-)

PS: nice, soldid, sophisticated reviews :-)

  • I'm staring at your ear because there's a great big caterpillar on it. You should see to that. ^_^

  • AAHH, you're right! It's been sitting there for over 4 hours and I didn't notice!

... wait... do all the other viewers have caterpillars on their left ears, too, then? Is this an international phenomenon? Or just Europe-wide? I'll have to investigate that.

  • It's just you. The other ones have sperm on their ears.

  • The thing I like about your reviews is that you talk about movies I never heard of. I am a huge Keira fan and I never heard of Atonement. It sounds like a good movie.

  • I'm glad I forgot to make fun of Keira, then. ^_^ This is the first film in which she hasn't annoyed me.

  • Oh Emm Gee O_0

  • Like, totally. ^_^
