Mashallah in this particular recitation he is even better, it sounds so peaceful every harf/word is enjoyable. Allah blessed him with such a voice, it is said that the Prophet(saaw) once told Abu Mussa Al Ashari that he was blessed with a voice close to Prophet Daud's As.

@xaalimo Subhanallah. I checked the website that had information about the death of sheikh Abdullah al-Matrood and chacked its reliabiability. I think its incorrect, because other sources indicate that he lead salaatul Taraweeh this year 2010 - Rabbigfir lii. My sincere apologies sis.

The late Qarees like, Sheikh Abdullah Matrood, Sheikh Ali Jabir and Sheikh Minshaawi, Allahu yarhamhum, have such beautiful recitations.

I must say though, Sheikh Ali Jabir and Sheikh Abdullah Matrood sound quite similar - Mahsa-Allah.
