Loki send this mask to the vikings as his last killing joke, before he was punished by Odin, in the 5. century.

In the 10. century, Leif Ericson and his crue buried it within a chest, on the coast a New Fundland, where later Edge City was built up.

But by the 20. century, the ocean washed away the fine-grained soil where the chest was buried. A curious diver cut off the rusty chain on the chest, and that's how the mask got on the surface.

The best replica mask that I've seen !. The others are only painted in dark green without brown. This mask is complete with all the colours from the movie. Also is the best because it is made of urethane resin and if it falls don't break.
