This jump was not in the "Grand Canyon" that most people can relate to, that in Grand Canyon National Park where the canyon is miles wide and 5,000 ft. deep. I believe this was done in the area of Diamond Creek about 80 - 100 airline miles west of Grand Canyon village on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. The National Park Service would never permit such a stunt like this. This area is on the Hualapai Indian Reservation, the boundary of which does not include the Colorado River.
I know a lot of people that would be very happy if they could have a bike like that, and this damned Luigi SON OF A BITCH wrecks a bike this way... MOTHERFUCKER!

He screwed up on the last one because he tried his infamous backflip 360 (which most motorcyclist wouldn't even dare trying) into the grand canyon. Yet again, he still managed to escape death amazing everyone.
@anicosia5 Travis Pastrana did the stunt on Nitro Circus, the whole schtick of that show is to make it look like these guys are just 'going for it' with zero prep work. Cani did this on Stunt Junkies which tries to hype the shit out of everything they film and make it look like there's a team of physics experts behind the scenes figuring stuff out. Regardless, in the world of skydiving, Pastrana is a joke compared to Cani
