This concert was at the Hi-tone in 2004. And it sure as hell didnt cost $100, more like $30-$40. And there WAS a panhandler out front, my friend bought a plastic bag full of summer sausage and roach spray from him.

Guess what, Elvis Costello needs to get paid, just like everyone else. Now that he makes zero money from his record sales, just like every other band, he needs to make his money by touring.
