  • anyone knows more on this singer and his concerts in Belgium ...?

  • shake not twist!

Amitié de Jean-Dan Maurice Vo tu-do

  • Umm, Jerry Lee Lewis?

  • he's the real deal

  • she IS totally L7 i ll bet he was hot to trot..baby i ll twist (the sheets ) with you.

  • i wanna learn to dance like that..like he is doing switchin feet and stuff..cool

  • haha, he's so bendy :']

  • Easily ten times more bendy than Gumby can ever get... now THAT's bendy!!

  • Pure Alvin Stardust, great stuff

  • No, she's gone into the next dimension of ultra-hip.

  • What's up with this video? He's one hep cat and she's like four corners, squares ville.

  • morrissey plays this at his concert because his mam liked him and said that he looked like him! which he does!

  • Where morrissey learned to dance. Thanx for the post.

  • Excellent !!!!

  • bravo les anneè 60

  • This video was played at the beginning of EVERY Morrissey concert in 2007. I went to 5 of them.

  • Have you seen the Sacha Distel video for "Ou Ca Ou Ca"? I think I like it a little better.

  • OMG yes, that is also played before his concerts, huh? Do you know who says that list of bad things before the concerts as well?

  • I'm afraid not. I just barely remember it. I found the Brigitte Bardot clip for her song "Bubblegum" here on Youtube tho. But I don't remember the list exactly or that clip of some actor dressed as a woman. Let me know if you find out. :)

  • search for "The Imperfect List"

  • Morrissey knows real culture...

  • My gawd....this boy had some moves.

    Classic footage TANX

  • actually he was just pissed again and couldnt stand still.

  • Wish I could move like that

    while pissed....

actually...that was much later in his "career"

  • il a une classe, MAIS UNE CLASSE !!!

  • Je veux bien te croire !!

Plus classe que lui, tu meurs!!

    K.

  • tout à fait de ton avis !

    vieurocker .

  • Tu as très bien répondu Vood69 !

  • OU LA ! g 4O PIGE DU CALME PAS D INSULTE C PAS MOI QUI VAIS ME BATTRE POUR UNE IDOLE PLEIN O

    As; HENDRIX N AVAIS

  • I guess this is whom those japanese greasers got their dance moves from

  • Gene Vincent had to record some silly twist songs too, it was either that or not record at all. What a sad fate for some truly raunchy performers.

  • He dances like morrissey did in the early Smiths years. Compare this to Morrissey's onstage capers!

  • the best part of this video is his facial expressions.

  • Great Video ... Bienvenue dans mes vidéos aussi ...

  • Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On comes before Jerry Lee Lewis; The Commodores recorded it in 1954, Big Maybelle recorded it in 1955 and 1957's recording by Jerry Lee Lewis became a #1 hit.

  • vince vince vince...

  • Thanks for the upload

  • This guy is awesome! Thanks for posting.

  • ... In fact he is Mr Elastic! Scares me.

  • This is most likely from the very early 1960's. Vince Taylor obviously thinks he is Mr Big Stuff.

  • Bowie used him as the basis for Ziggy. Apparently he came on stage dressed like Jesus and proclaimed he was the messiah. He was a big star in France. Lost the plot with drugs allegedly and died young !!

  • kind of like it

  • It's a copy of Jerry Lee's Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' on!

And it's not a good copy either...

  • I did talk via @ to one off the guitar players , who is living in Australia nowadays.

  • I was blown away to see this Vince Taylor video playing at the Morrissey Pasadena shows. It was funny, as soon as the video started people were glued to the screen. It made me want to redescover the other Vince Taylor videos.

  • ugh not sure...but i am digging his cockroach killer boots!

  • I saw this video in a Morrissey's show in monterrey mexico last nov

  • Very interested to read that Morrissey's been playing this video! I totally see the resemblance. I'm trying to find another video of Vince - he's shimmying towards camera on a very cleverly designed white TV set. Does it ring any bells?

  • BAD MAN

  • This is one of the videos that Morrissey's been playing between Kristeen Young's set and his own on his last tour - it's easy to see where the young Morrissey got some of his moves from and the facial resemblance between him and Vince is striking!

  • what year is this from?

  • 1956 or 1957

  • @soulsheikvideo No, 1962, when Twist was the Dance of the Year!

  • @soulsheikvideo Thats too early. he didn't have a single out in the uk till 58...There's a lotta twistin goin'on came out in 62. This was on french tv in the early 60's (i'd say about 61...62ish)

  • Fantastic.

  • OOOH YES TREVOR !

    THAT'S FANTASTIC !

  • Great Video!
