  • Colour Sgt Wormwood. Should people not have known that his name is a giveaway that he is poison. For e.g. the Ukranian name for "Wormwood" was "Chernobyl"

  • What rank is sharpe

  • @ApacheGunship3233 Leftenant Colonel (American rank would be Lieutenant Colonel)

  • @WilliamDampbellows It is spelled "Lieutenant" in both Britain and America, it is just pronounced differently, that's all

  • "This is the Field Marshal The Lord Chitu, sir". What a load of bullocks(pun intended!).

  • Richard.......Bloody.......Sharpe...

  • Ah! Looks like the depressed reverand found someone to save!

  • This boy is Sharpe's son? Boy, did I miss something. :) Songs

  • simmerson reminds me of ian macdiarmid as senator palpatine...

  • that horse must be dying under wormwords weight O_o

  • MADE respect to dan the black man!

  • the reverend is SO gay!

  • like how they wake the rev :-)

  • That little colonel Bouclaire is just too cute no homo

  • @Mattthornz He's an Ensign, not a Colonel :-/

    /warfag

  • Field Marshall the Lord Chitu!! ahahaaaa, FOMHL (fall of my horse laughing)

  • 08:47 - God...I hate...Simmerson...such a talented scoundrel.

  • there is always one stupid git who tries to throw a wrench in the works

  • And I'm ready no. Pick no mawlett. Heh.. God knows sallah spoon wood.

    In other words, 0:00 - 0:08 ... Come again?

  • @ESFAndy011 Think no more of it. God knows Silus Wormwood would never leave his boys un-friended. Think no more of it. (Not bad for an American girl, I think).

  • @Reesfun ...what american girl?

  • @ESFAndy011 Me silly. Being able to figure out what Wormwood is saying, but only because it took me watching every episode to start to understand all the different British accents.

  • @Reesfun Ah! Haha, sorry. Yeah, it's tough to figure out some things the first time you watch series like this.

  • dude, Simmerson is still an idiot

  • Why do Sharpe's enemies always look like Uncle Fester?

  • @mymagnoliatree He... doesn't like bald people?

  • The only rifles around would have been Sharpe's or Harper's. Everything else would be smoothbore.

  • Sharpe is an Ex Green Jacket, they were armed with Baker Rifles. Harper carries a 6-7 Barrel volley gun, it is smoothbore, kinda like a 19th century shotgun

  • looks like sharpe is building his own leigion

  • Does anyone have Sharpe's address in India? I would like to send him a comb and a razor.

  • how come the prisoner shaves and sharpe doesn't

  • @halfdoll: ROTFLMAO!! :-P

  • @halfdoll That is pretty much what Sean Bean looks like in real life (add scruffy jeans and a grey sweater)

  • @MLFive I am quite willing to shave and trim him too. :o)

  • @halfdoll lol And some cutting shears. I get tired of the scragly hair. Use to be lighter. And the budget must have gone to the actor's wages because they wear the same, tiresome uniforms and clothes. The major's wife has only had one dress. I get it's a uniform but still there has to be more than one style? Even the evil, rich Russian has on the same thing episode after episode. Isn't it interesting that the dandy uniforms always have tons of braids? More important. . more braids.Songs

  • @Songsmirth earlier they were told to leave with what was esential, spare clothes are luxuries.

  • @AbuAvital OH, ok. My bad. :) Thaks Abu.

  • @Songsmirth Soldiers only wear one piece of clothing, their uniform as regards to the other people they had to leave their clothes behind so they can survive.

  • @SpoOkyBeEf Yes, your right. Shoot! lol Thanks for pointing it out. It's only fair. :) Songs

  • @Songsmirth No problemo :)

  • Richard bloody Sharpe! LOL

  • I think that guys name is just Hakeswill and Sharpe when he herd that name thought of Obedia.

  • Hey, The guy is Barrabus Hakeswill and is defo Obedia's son.

  • It is?, he looks Indian.

  • Yup,earlier in the episode he admits it and acc to the books,at the start of the 1800's Sharpe and O Hakeswill were in India so Obedia must have seeded some unfortunate indian.

  • how come the prisoner shaves and sharpe doesn't

  • because he has nothing else to do?

  • Hes a half.

  • Ok Sorry guys, I had no idea, they all look different.

  • Its funny how Sharpe humors Simmerson at 8:48

  • The British army was truly multicultural during the 1800 i can see soldiers from the caribean, india and Ireland every body from all parts of the British Empire worked together nice

  • You know, Wormwood was a star in the Bible.

    Means "Bitterness." :|

  • What the hell is the fat guy blubberin about at the start of the clip.

    I cant hear a word

  • @realmusikforya

In the last clip he says "It was an idle thought". Then he comments on it, saying "an unworthy one, think no more on it."

    Hope that helps :)

  • @realmusikforya: Dang West Country accent of Wormwood's. He's telling Cprl. Hakeswill that Sharpe means to kill him, which is total bollocks. Wormwood merely wants to desert and use Hakeswill as a scapegoat.

  • Thanks for the vid, tiger, but what happened to part-2 of part-5?
