  • I loved it! Thank you.

  • Where is the last clip in this vid from?

  • ......can i find the throat singing in the begging here on youtube? Anyone have a link?

  • ive been locked up in a mad house 4 times, the last one i climbed the wall and ran away, then returned to peyote now im a shaman who suposevly had schizo. fuck psichiatrists!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you guys know that you need to be CAUTIOUS while watching this video because of it's SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES included!! I'm not sure if Gaia1986 is the one who originally made this video (if you did, I DO NOT APPRECIATE you doing this to everyone!!) or not but if you start at 3 minutes and 5 seconds into this video and carefully watch WITHOUT BLINKING, the words "Your Life Has No Meaning" and other DISTURBING messages pop up one after another!!

  • @MrsChongLee our life really do not have meaning. We try to look for meaning to it when we do not know the meaning of life

  • @MrsChongLee yee.. it's part of the video

  • @MrsChongLee I dont think it was intentional, I think it was merely trying to accentuate what McKenna was saying about being ostracized because of ones views. I agree that something like that should not be in a video that you're watching while opening your mind to profound ideas.

  • I read the castenada books about shamanism before ever hearing terence mckenna. it all makes so much sense now. we need more shamans and thats for sure.

  • What mushroom should i try ?

  • What mushroom should i try ?

  • Holy shit this made me have a fucking revelation into how things work for insane ppl in this spiritually stale society. Made me figure out the reasons for a huge chunk of my childhood behavior, just spiritually rambling with no direction to how to live life / avoid suffering, AND THEN THEY TOLD ME I WAS THE PROBLEM, im pissed and im very high right now

  • i've felt like i've gone completely crazy on mushrooms.. like i was schizophrenic, it was kinda scary; reality was skipping and twitching and my thoughts were just skipping at a million miles an hour. pretty intense experience. never want to be shrooming that hard again it wasnt pleasant.

  • incredible visuals

  • Kuan Yin or Avalokitesvara?

  • I may be wrong, but it seems to me, from my perspective, that the totally insane are who run our society and the world at large. Typical psychopathic personalities.

  • @ObsessedCyclist You're right.

  • @ObsessedCyclist Correct.

  • 6:30 boobies

  • A shaman recognizes that every concept has its polar opposite but that a person can be at any point along a continuum between the two poles.

  • A shaman embodies the archetypes of the Seer, Mystic, Prophet, and Elder.

  • The basic assumption that the schizophrenic is "not pulling their own weight" is driven by the model of society and economy which came about after the industrial revolution. This switch from a farming society to a labor society has produced all of the ills of the world. The industrial model says that all people are the same. All men wear size 10 shoes and the biggest difference between children is how old they are not any unique ability or talents inherent within them. This model is failing.

  • I want small things. I don't want a super bowel. I want a communal softball team to be the biggest sport in the world. I don't want this disconnected social networking which claims to bring us closer but drives us away. I want every statement a bigot makes to be done face to face with someone so they can see the pain it causes. I want small communities, medieval villages with advanced technology. The family has failed and only the community can recover our shared humanity.

  • What ever is wild, crazy and free from conforming to authority is mans way to control and stigmatizing what isn't the same as to me. Meaning eirther or else!

  • ISRAEL DID 9/11!

    WANT PROOF?

    911MISSINGLINKS / COM

  • Wow, I mean wow. Terence certainly had a way with words!

  • Oh my goodness! The visuals of the African touching the dead herbivore, easing it's death passage while Terence talks about the dying culture shook me up! Still have goose bumps on my hands :-(

  • I was introduced to Terrence's work late in life. I am still amazed that I missed this man and his work while he was with us. I was just living the American "illusion" until I woke up one day. Today, as I look at it honestly, I have failed this great man's dream and joined a shotty movement like "Occupy" and 99%-ism which is based on the materialist linear value system that will ultimately destroy us. I hope he is not watching.

  • wow this was incredibly interesting

  • i love it when i see the tribes that would take the time to sort of mourn the death of the animal they've hunted, peaceful and in line with nature.

  • R.I.P. McKenna

  • wow.. this guy was such a talented speaker

  • this is an amazing video, very tripy and informative. Props to whoever made this and rip terence.

  • Hey guys. I'm battling from schizophrenia. I'm not asking for money or views or anything, but just for support and for people to hear me out. My psychiatrist said to let people know about your problem, but everyone thinks I'm weird and my family cannot understand or take me seriously. I made a blog about my problems, and I hope we can talk on there. My blog is battlingschizophrenia.blogspot.com . Fellow schizophrenics, you should also come. We can fight the battle together.

  • @jaco0bx you should try smoalking dmt

  • awsome terence is truly a profit

  • Red penetrates me, the red flesh and blood of my ancestors.

    Consciousness opens, ego departs.

A new way is seen, an old soul is found.

I run not away from fear but toward it.

I run not away from reality but toward it.

I run not away from death but toward it.

I ran, and have been running ever since.

  • what speech is this from?

  • @psyLevitated It's from "Eros and The Eschaton" Lecture.

  • GOOD STUFF

  • He paraphrased Joseph Campbell.

  • mind blown its like all these words are pieces of puzzles that match with my thought process this is incredible.

  • Brilliant video concept. Thank you for sharing.

  • The only way things are going to change is if we form a mushroom cult and wake up the masses by secretly setting up mushroom trips for the sheeple so they can KNOW THE TRUTH we know. We need to become the MUSHROOM JESUS'S of the word, and im willing to help lead the way. This is the only way, we need a TRUTH FOR DUMBIES book, so we can simply explain our theory, then back it up by letting the person take the life changing trip.

    WHOS IN???

  • @Mavericks411991 i have been thinking about this for some time. i use to shred them up and bake them in chocolate. that would be sweet.

  • @Mavericks411991 dude sign me up!

  • @Mavericks411991 i'm in dude.

  • Please no cults.

  • @Mavericks411991 I'm in.

  • @Mavericks411991 is there a method or name of your theory? i understand what your saying but just a little curious

  • @furb05 My theory is that the miushroom experience is REAL. Not just a meaningless alteration of the brains neurochemistry. I believe it can save the world. What i said didnt work inn my area..i GAVE friends and family my potent homegrown mushrooms and they came back saying either they had a bad trip, or it "felt like i was in a movie" all that random shit..but for ME..i had such a "religious experiebce" i was balling my eyes out crying THANKING GOD FOR SHOWING ME THE TRUTH!! INDESCRIBABLE.

  • @Mavericks411991 I know how you feel, true neutral reality is what you saw, seeing through literally NO eyes, scary ofcourse, letting go if everything for a while, a true personality shift.

  • @Mavericks411991 You are groovy awesome man. (:

  • @Mavericks411991 I'm starting chapter 1 as we speak.

  • @TheSelfGoverned Dont give up...dont listen to what anyone says if they try making fun of youre beliefs..use it as motivation to finish the book you started. The problem with us mushroomers is that we are afraid of being looked at as crazy for what we think..this needs TO STOP. I am a victim as well, i try telling people and explaining, but i get looked at as crazy and it makes me unmotivated because i feel most people are so deep into "the illusion" that they CANT understand. love 2 all.

  • @Mavericks411991 Everyone who's in is already doing this, But it means keeping it within a small circle, working with your friends. Are all of your friends turned on? ;) You don't need too much of attention, do you? Widespread propaganda can ONLY be art in this case.

  • @KoolaidAcidKat NONE of my friends are truly turned on..its sad. i try and try but everyone would rather live there boring life..IGNORANCE IS BLISS TO THESE PEOPLE..not me..i ask question, i wanna explore and go further through space than mankind has ever. im not afraid of the mushroom..ive taken 6.3 grams of penis envy cubensis in silent darkness and was told that Jesus Christ is real. He is the ultimate experience..were mislead by religion, "theres a little bit of truth to every big lie"

  • @Mavericks411991 I agree 100%

  • @Mavericks411991

Don't waste your time with trying to convince people to be like you. Live your life the way you feel is necessary and then through your example you will give certain people the permission they were looking for to be themselves. By attacking others with demands and calling others sheeple you are betraying everything that is holistic and regenerative about the psilocybin trance and feeding your ego at the expense of people you consider less evolved than yourself.

  • @Erravanr You are spot-on with your assessment, and I hope you continue to spread that idea, because it is only by virtue of considering the 'whole' human being that we can do this.

  • @Mavericks411991 dump a bunch of lsd or some other psychedelic in a cities water supply. or like joe rogan said in a comedy routine: continually bomb an area with chronic smoke haha

  • @Mavericks411991 us needs the psylocibin molecule to change the atomical configurations of the neuromolecules in the nervous system you know what i mean? this is something that would carry the human especies to become some kind of hiper form of light we can modify the structure of the brain and related tissue and create something from another plane of existence the purpouse of our fisical biological bodies is to like a vessel for some kind of superior being and we are giving birth as a specie

  • @Mavericks411991 That's a very unoriginal/unrealistic thought. The game needs to be taken away from the programmers. We need to play into the system enough to hijack it from the virus. Art, science, politics. It all needs to be taken back.

  • @kiefhouse Yes but the mushroom experience is the only thing strong enough to penetrate peoples minds TOO bring our hijacked art,science..etc back.. its the foundation. The mushroom experience is to wake people up. Its to PROVE firsthand that we have been lied to our whole, life.

  • @Mavericks411991 I'm already "in," trying to bring an integrated form of shamanism to the 21st Century. If you (the figurative "you" - i.e. anyone and everyone) are genuinely interested, please contact me at:

  • guess im schizophrenic based on what he said?

  • It's ridiculous how many lives Terence McKenna is still changing after death!

Peace, Pot & Light to all.

  • Funny story. I need a lawyer. I told my psychiatrist about how I believe in this mans ideas. She declared me schizophrenic.

  • @madhatterme13 Your psychiatrist is an idiot, get a new one.

  • Gaia do you have the original soundclip without the soundtrack? Or where i can find it? I want to sample this in a psytrance track.

  • Im glad to have found videos such as these because of the internet. I also came to this conclusion one night while just thinking about things as i do quite alot. I do beleive that schizophrenics and other "mentally ill" are not ill but just on another wavelength and are tuned in to this world differently from "normal" people. If I was to discuss these ideas I would probably be sectioned under the mental health act. Like if you would probably be locked up too :D

  • In the modern psychy wich has been trained by the tv, the media and books to believe the lie that any one who does not resemble you is mentaly ill. Today in our time, anyone who steps outside the bounds of what has been deemed normal creativity or trys to extend throught behind the confined realm of the academic mental phisician elite are to be silenced, called retarded, mentaly ill, stupid, mentaly diseased and worthless. All of the greatest art work goes outside the bounds of normal minds!

  • @MrSaturdayNightSpecL No genius of history has ever not had an element of what an average, mediocre person deems as "insanity". The Romantics actually revived the ancient idea that the state of effortless creativity was in fact akin to madness.

  • This touches me very deeply. I was put into a pysch ward after experimenting with Kundalini yoga. Since then, I have been labelled as "psychotic ", "biploar", and "schitzofrenic". Let me tell you that when you are in those certain states of mind, and you can see and feel things before they happen - you are not crazy, you are merely realizing that you are but an observer of a story that has already been concluded.

  • "So you were sitting under a bodhi tree, and you felt like you were one with everything and could review all your past lives. ...very interesting. So, before that, all your desires and attachments, personified as this Mara character, shot arrows at you, which trans-mutated into lotus petals of contentment. Hmmm, very interesting. Well, you exhibit classic symptoms of psychosis, and I'm going to put you on a strong dose of Thorazine so that you won't suffer from your divine revelations anymore."

  • @JNathanK2011 yup. I actually made myself "pyschotic" by meditating for hours every day. Now my family insists that I take anti psychotics.

  • @ProtoGrey So is it that its some imbalance as mainstream science says, or is it that its a different dimension of consciousness?

  • @JNathanK2011 Likely both. :) The psychadelic experience is an "imbalance" when you are referring to the neuro-chemical equilibrium of a "stable" human mind. You are totally jacked on serotonin, or some analogue of dopamine, or norepinephrine or whatever. You are also "unbalanced" by social conventions, if you sit for hours everyday neglecting your "societal duties", learning to use your stomach muscles to pump an excess of blood into your brain. Like T.M says, "The universe is language."

  • @ProtoGrey I wouldn't mind leaving social conventions temporarily, but I wouldn't want to be there the rest of my life.

  • @ProtoGrey A bit of synchronicity too. I just got a package today in the mail with the caution symbol that's spinning around in the video. I've heard that's something people notice more when they're "unbalanced".

  • @JNathanK2011 Yea the symbols are very important. For me, I saw a lot of Proto-Germanic runes, and became completely fixated on Phi (which is fairly common among mathematically-inclined schitzofrenics). Although...the most important realizations I made were the ones about causality, and that somehow my actions in the present "had" determined my past. And this is an ancient idea, of course, articulated in such symobls as the snake eating itself, etc.

  • @ProtoGrey T.M had his idea of the teleological "great attractor", and I've sort of experienced this myself. Also pay attention to the names of people. (I'm assuming from your ytname that your name is Jonathan, like mine) You may begin to notice that every microscopic instance of consciousness is enough to explain the macrocosm. In the hospital, the other patients had the names of my friends on "the outside", and were like reflections of some kind. Btw, do you listen to Boards of Canada? :)

  • @ProtoGrey by breaking out of stagnant behavior patterns and switching to more up lifting emotions, can you change your past to something better? Is it really your past, though, or is it something non-temporal altogether?

  • @JNathanK2011 Time, as an idea, is the dialect of "future", "present" and "past" that arises from seeing motion and change in relation to an arbitrary reference point. Thus, we are limited to understanding ourselves as beings in only 4 dimensions so long as we fail to: 1) concieve of ourselves as the process of a constantly changing universe - which means removing our "stationary" idioms that measure time; 2) unravel the web of causation that forms our habits, and causes actions to be reactions

  • Respond to this video... The only thing that links the "past", "present", and "future" is the mind. If you are actually in control of your mind (i.e are practicing very advanced kinds of yoga, or perhaps are having an intense pyschadelic experience) you come to see that time among most other "things", are complete illusions. And these of course aren't new ideas...there are cultural traditions that have been preaching this stuff for hundreds of years.

  • im confused

  • So being content in a self created values system is a sign of schizophrenia? Since I don't buy into consumer capitalism, I'm viewed with suspicion by a psychiatrist apparently.

  • there is a great phobia about mind ...........excellent

  • ahh man... when you hear him preach and imagine what the world COULD be like...

  • Well kinda...

You can't help but get just a little philosophical when you have to use well known horror novels or movies to best describe your life, but it's only someone who's suffered in life that can ever achieve becoming a real human being..

Everyone else is just fucktards :P

  • i would like to interrupt this ongoing debate with a public service announcement

    6:30 tits on youtube!!

  • @okthisisboring 6:30 GREAT tits on youtube!!

  • but i disagree with sum of his views, but as far as the whole "schizophrenia is not a mental illness, its a supernatural spiritual thing" i agree with 100 percent.

  • ...which is reason enuff for them not to be able to control themselves and stay calm like a shaman, they dont know whats going on so they act out, where as a shaman knows exactly whats going so hes able to stay under control and calm while going through the same things (what doctors would call delusions and hallucinations) take it from sumone whos been through the mental health system, it doesnt work, and often makes things worse, looking at it from another view is much more helpful & healthier

  • i was diagnosed with schizophrenia at 15, and i can tell u now, i DO NOT HAVE A DISORDER. theres way too many things that have happened that cannot possibly in any sense of the worde be a mere "halucination". the only reason a

"schizophrenic" acts out, is becuz hes been told hes insane and shoved medications down his throat, so they dont know how to properly deal with whats going on, they are confused and mis-informed......

  • Comment removed

  • @rickybarningham Has your consciousness manifested into physical forms before. If that's the case, I want schizophrenics to know they're human beings and that life is beautiful. I think if you make them crazy, their consciousness will manifest crazy things.

  • i wish this man was still alive, because i would seriously like to ask him some questions.

  • feed your flesh v. feed your spirit? 6:20-7:25.

  • Correlation does not imply causation. While I like alot of McKennna's statements, simply implying that shamans are schizophrenics is pretty ignorant. They are obviously linked however. While most shamans know what they are doing and often have/had normal community lives complementing their shamanism. A lot of schizos are completely out of control, can not do menial tasks of supporting their own lives let alone helping others, like shamans do, hurting themselves. Especially a shaman can help them

  • Especially a shaman can help them, because they understand better than any other member of the community what kind of things the schizo is going through, yet masters them, unlike the schizo.

  • THIS IS THE WACKEST VIDEO FOR THIS SPEACH!!!!! WHO EVER MADE THE VIDEO WAS CLEARLY NOT TRYING TO HELP TERRANCE'S POINT BUT PERPETUATE THE ALIENTED FEELINGS THAT THE WATCHER HAS.

try pausing the video during some of the fast text that flashes. ( shitty form of subliminal messaging) but probably effective non the less

  • Terrence Mckenna is pure genious and a joy to listen to!

  • this guy will now be a light being in DMT land

  • lol associating something like shamanism and a terrible disease like schizophrenia shows a fair amount of ignorance these comments. In any society they are in including indigenous African tribes you almost always see them on the fringe of society because they are too unstable and too much of a danger to themselves to take on any major role in society. Since 50% attempt suicide and they have sky high rates of self mutilation most commonly to their genitals it isn't just a creative personality

  • @xxpoppyelfxx I suggest reading "How to become a schizophrenic" by John Modrow.

  • Well if shamanism is still illegal, at least art isn't. Yet

  • @OnlyTheTyrant haa! nice point.

  • "The Pursuit of Loneliness" is a great book that looks at what happens when a society represses its fringe, in this case the "schizophrenic" who in healthy societies are an important part of the community, as herbalists, healers, prophets. Only an unhealthy society will suppress the natural tendencies of the human meta-organism to create oddities which look outside of the known and bring knowledge back to benefit society. These fringe elements are essential to the health of society.

  • I didn't want to get too verbose, but I also blame kunalini on fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue syndrome. The people I know with fms are k-active and the symptoms correlate for both, though I can't say entirely why it expresses in that manner. I know fms sufferers do well with grounding as do bipolars. BP has increased something like 1000% in the last 20 years, with FMS and CFS being new disorders largely unexplained. You can disagree, but other sensitives are saying similar things.

  • Schizophrenia is just an expression of Kundalini with a certain amount and type of trauma involved. Bipolar disorder is the same way. All shaman have active Kundalini. If caught on the first psychotic outbreak, most schizophrenics can be cured. We've known this since the 1970's but that form of therapeutic intervention has been repressed. Look at the book Trials of a Visionary Mind or Bipolarorwakingup's blog.

  • @mochaite I have a close friend with the disease, and I also have a close friend who is an actual shaman - not the self ordained new-age type, but the type brought up and trained within a tribe here in North America. It's is pure myth to equate the disease with a kundalini episode. Only a very small number of persons who had 'episodes' were ever trained to be a shaman. They definitely also had people among them who were just plain crazy. It's a mistake to romanticize this horrid condition.

  • @RealityGrapple There is nothing to romanticize about schizophrenia or shamanic initiation. They both suck and it is a mistake that they are underrecognized and poorly treated in our society. Look at the literature, it can be cured on the first episode. Perhaps your shaman friend didn't tell you the most powerful shaman are not chosen by the tribe but are chosen by the spirit, which implies a physical or mental disease. Active kundalini does not imply shamanic dismemberment either.

  • @mochaite Yes, I know about 'first episode' info. It's still the case that 40% of people who suffer a psychotic episode never have another, even with the conventional treatments people trash. And don't presume to tell me what my friend has or hasn't told me, or make silly statements about things you don't have a personal relationship with. My shaman friend never had a mental disorder. This is pure myth. It's SOMEtimes the case, but usually? Not. Just plain not true.

  • @mochaite That being said, indeed 'the spirit' chooses who becomes the nextpupil. That's literally how it happened when my friend chose his understudies. He was visited and told 'teach that guy' by a spirit. But it doesn't always pan out. And none of the guys were mentally ill. Furthermore, there's still human judgment involved. Spirit doesn't always communicate so very clearly. It's not like they leave precise instructions. And yes, you romanticize schizophrenia whether or not you know it.

  • @RealityGrapple When I was saying chosen by the spirit, I meant through a direct initiatory experience as opposed to a lineage based initiation. I have yet to see a statistical compilation of initiatory experiences and was not trying to infer which method is more common, only that mental or physical illness is typical in shamanic dismemberment. I'm sorry it's hard to clairify such specifics with limited space on here. Trying to be concise I lost the preciseness of what I was trying to convey.

  • @RealityGrapple And not all spirits are kind... Demons of desire or jealousy are perhaps even more likely to manifest themselves in "sensitive" persons than divinity. Schitzofrenics are at the mercy of their demons because they have not been introduced to the practices and technologies of a "spiritual path", which help to clear and purify the mind and body. Nevermind the horrific state of psych wards.

  • @mochaite And what I mean by 'romanticize' is this idea you put forth that schizophrenia is 'just an expression of Kundalini...". It isn't. It's a disease, and it sucks total ass. It literally destroys your brain. No, not the medicines. The episodes. And no, bipolar ALSO isn't 'just kundalini'. I can see how a spiritual awakening could be CONFUSED with one or the other disorder, but trust me, it's not the same. Not at all.

People do the same shit with autism. What a mistake.

  • @RealityGrapple Schizophrenia has permanent biological effects I'll agree. I know the effects on the brain. I have two close soulmates with bipolar, both having pretty decent kundalini. I know this because sensing kundalini along with some clairvoyance have been side effects to my own kundalini with subsequent visions of dismemberment and being told being a shaman was my life purpose. I'm not a shaman, but I don't have either illness. Kundalini frequently resembles a disease..

  • @mochaite My dad RSEMBLES a certain actor - but he's not said actor. I've experienced some pretty mind blowing spiritual experiences in my life, like encountering light beings, but they aren't like the things my schizophrenic friend goes through, which at times are just plain awful - no meaning. Just suffering and sadness. He just got out of the hospital again last weekend. Nothing spiritual about it. And I cant stop the dude from doing shit that's gonna land him there again. It sucks.

  • @RealityGrapple I'm really sorry to hear that. I know it's really devastating. I have a soulmate I can't reach out and help and he goes through horrible psychosis. I had dreams telling me I needed to seek him out and get him off medication, and that was the last thing I wanted to do after he basically ruined my life and I was all about pharmaceuticals. I had been an atheist for 11 years shortly before that point so it wasn't a stance I was inclined to.

  • @RealityGrapple Bipolarorwakingup's youtube channel covers spiritual awakening vs bipolar and schizophrenia relating to psychotic phenomena in toxic healing crisis. It's not a pretty picture and the prognosis is grim for schizophrenia. Trauma, love, stress, double bind scenarios, all can activate kundalini on a temporary to permanent basis. There are swamis in India who say bipolar is kundalini (see Kundalini Tantra pg 416) and that all people on earth will have awakened kundalini at some point.

  • Comment removed

  • @mochaite Kundalini can be horrifying if you are not prepared for it. I've had first hand experience with it, and is akin to psychosis. Mind you the process of psychosis is quite healthy, if you dont have any underlying emotional problems or fears that can become manifest as your reality... and who doesn't have fear?

  • I did a lot of reading on abnormal psychology from 60s and 70s texts - and back then the descriptions of patients experiences matched up very much with descriptions of people that took psychedelics in clinical settings and tests also,

eg - if anyone knows the Bill Bailey joke about 'terry & june - on acid' then the way he gets into the tray pattern - that's very typical of schizophrenia as described in older texts, and it's also like what 'enlightened' people see the world as - pure energy.

  • thought for the day, folks: if mckenna is the timothy leary of dmt, who will be it's charles manson?

  • @popstone1 im down.

  • @popstone1

    Oprah

  • @popstone1

"We have no tradition of Shamanism."

  • thank you

  • Western Materialism at it's core is technological evolution moving at an unsustainable rate of progress, with the consuming masses being it's testing ground. It's dirty, it's destructive, it's wasteful, it's imperfect, but it's absolutely essential to the survival and biological evolution of the human species. If we're going to build sustainable ecosystems throughout the universe then we're going to have to flip through and discard a lot of technology along the way. What's missing is balance.

  • @ItsMeGandhi Thank you! I couldn't have said it better!

  • this man's "teachings" are a pack of raving drug addled speculations. why don't you check out his science instead of blindly following him? just because you like what he says?

  • Great, another science hipi catholic hater telling me to drop my pants in the street. What else is new? Western civilization thought itself maybe?

  • shamanism is talking to demon spirits that lie.

  • @ajones123ful i take that back, you are just programmed. i forgive you.

  • @goonmaster69 wow goon, i am touched. people are usually so mean to me. i guess the drugs haven't destroyed your sense of compassion. yet.

  • @ajones123ful the drugs have put me more in touch with my sense of compassion than you can even begin to fathom. anyone that is a prick to you about saying something like that, is wrong. every belief system is right to an extent, and im guessing you are a christian. ive been there, and like i said, you are programmed. dont take those people as what a psychedelic user becomes, because its those people that assist in the decline of society. all of us coming together and realizing that we are all

  • @ajones123ful one, collective intelligence, is what is going to further us as a species. they arent demons, i promise. and the bible is FULL of truths, beyond what most people know, but a lot of it is metaphoric, and that is where christians can end up with there heads up there asses, is when they take certain things literally. when jesus said he was the son of god, he was right. we are all a biproduct of god,and god isnt one thing. god is everything coming together as one. peace and love

  • @goonmaster69 G-master, i know you are sincere and your reply to me is exceptional. i've deliberately been a prick - and will continue to be one, but not to you - over mckenna and his teachings. but i don't think i agree with you about the metaphors and the Bible. failing to take the bible literally is how one ends up decieved about it.

no, i know that users of these drugs aren't ALWAYS damaged by them, but i know that children have no business with them. and thats what i'm about.

  • @goonmaster69 The concept of God has destroyed more lives than we can count, and it has and still is a consistent thorn in the side of science and advancement. I find it ironic that you say the bible is full of truths and imply that it is somehow good. During the Inquisition, because of the bible the mentally ill such as many schizophrenics, one popular one Joan of Arc, were burned at the stake. The concept of God throughout human history is just a false explanation for the unknown.

  • @goonmaster69 well put. I swear some of these people just don't care though. No matter how many times you preach of god in the supernatural sense they always make it a religious debate and start tearing down religious figures that you didn't even mention to begin with while preaching darwinian theories that they don't even fully understand themselves.

  • @goonmaster69 Well said and I completely agree with you. Christianity has some truly fantastic aspects; as do many religions, but the literal taking of the metaphoric is what has put us into a giant hole.. and all the religions are beating the hell out of each other at the bottom.

  • @goonmaster69 Hehe. You can hear them on the radio if your a "schitzo".

  • In my travels over the years I 'bumped' into shamans in various parts of Africa. The consistent message on shamanism was that if the shaman needed information he did not know, he would pass the question to his father, if he didnt know it, then it would be sent further down the ancestral line until an ancestor knew the answer.

Imagine an ancestral database of life experience?

Note: By saying father I do not mean a man, nor a relative. Often times it is an animal

  • i'm a Shamanic believer

  • is tere a version with subtitles?

  • bam bitch i smoke so much fucking CRACK!!

  • This man is either one of the most successful psychonauts or the biggest psycho.

  • I'm a shaman with no mentor. But the genes demand compliance. Society must have shamans to survive.

  • I'm a shaman too.

  • Brilliant!
